Had a girls weekend in STL and this place was recommended! Loved the atmosphere and all of the things to see. The beer was ice cold, our appetizers were great and the staff was very kind and helpful! Would love to go back!

Great atmosphere but average food. Had the Veggie burger pretty average but, my husband loved the vegan red beans and rice! :) Won a game of Clue!

I got to go down in the "duck room" and it had an old fashioned speak easy feel to it. A few duck pictures lined the wall going down the stairs. I like the pictures upstairs and the bartender was quite friendly.

Well I belong to a group of retired people, so my group decided to go to Blueberry Hill and a movie after. Nice time right but the people in this group are all types, some drink , some are big eaters some small. Well you get the idea, so our check comes and then the trouble begins. It is nothing but an adding machine tape about a foot long. Just a list of prices. When well told them we have know idea who owes what, we were told that was our problem. Divide it by the number of people in your group and each pay the same amount. Well nice idea but one had three drinks and one had water so the manager came to the table and gave us a menu and said work on it not his problem. We told him we have 150 in our club and would not be able to come back. He said good. Not a very user friendly place and would never go back. We are going to publish this in our news letter to our 150 members.

Will not return. Took the family there to celebrate a birthday. Ordered the Reuben. First time ever that I left more than 1/2 of the sandwich. The chicken wing appetizers were not worth eating (stopped after eating one of the seven). But the worst part: their calculation of the bill. The dinner/appetizers and drinks for 5 came to $100, which is very reasonable. And the waitress was excellent. But in the bill, they mandated an $18/ 18% tip, bringing the meal and tip to 118....and then they calculated the tax based on the meal PLUS their mandated tip. The irony was that I was planning on giving the waitress a $20 cash tip based solely on her service. Fitz' and Pi Pizzeria are much better options if planning a trip to the loop.

I have read some reviews of Blueberry Hill, and I tend to disagree that the food isn't good. This is my husband and I's favorite place to eat in St. Louis! We have ordered many items and loved them all! The service isn't anything to brag about, but it isn't poor either. The decor is fabulous and the dart boards are a heck of a lot of fun if you have a group! Overall, this is a great place to visit once, twice, three times and more!
