Equating China's resource grab to what Truman did? Dispicable and not journalistic at all. There are no opposing countries on the continental shelf whereas China clearly over states claims intruding on other countries' sovereignty.

+Carroll Hobbs The Continental Shelf refers to the East Coast of the USA going eastward. The western coast African countries and the USA are not in a dispute over the continental shelf. The Continental Shelf does not refer to the Gulf of Mexico.
