Meet Chantel. Her friend Aline is a little further down the path. Every single day they carry several jerry cans down the side of a mountain for nearly an hour. At the bottom, they fill the cans up with water. They then turn around and carry the jugs back up the mountain for another hour all so their families have something to drink. The worst part: the water they collected is dirty and often makes them sick.
The season of Lent has just started. And we are using the 40 days to bring clean water to Chantel's and Aline's village, along with two other villages in Rwanda. You can help, too, by giving up your favorite drink for Lent and donating what you save by not buying that drink.
Print off their picture and put it on your fridge so that every time you see them you will remember why you're participating in saveadrink.org
because your saved drinks will bring clean water directly to those two little girls.
