BlogHer cofounder and SheKnows Chief Community Officer, Elisa Camahort Page, is making moves in 2017. Read about her transition and send over some words of encouragement as she takes on new challenges! http://spr.ly/62608Oeus
Every single week, I talk to many people who are contemplating big leaps into the unknown, and I invariably encourage them to make those leaps. I’m a big believer in leaps. I've made many in my life and career, and now I’m making another leap. Thanks to the gracious accommodation of my SheKnows colleagues—and the experience and talents of the events team I’ve built over the past eight years—I am able to shift to a consulting role with SheKnows Me...

Going through a really tough time? Here are some tips to get through those bad days. http://spr.ly/62658DMqR
Before we begin, let's make it clear, I am not a psychiatrist. Nor do I have the secret to magically transcend anxiety or stress. If experience is education, however, I do feel pretty comfortable speaking on the subject. Although my ability to speak freely and calmly about how I handle these things is, at best, a recent development.

We are excited to share that #BlogHer17 will be held in Orlando, FL on June 22 - 24. Our first confirmed keynote is New York Times Bestselling Author Luvvie Ajayi! Registration is now open! http://spr.ly/6269869aW
Two months ago, we danced the night away at the Conga Room in Los Angeles, closing #BlogHer16 in style. And here we are today, announcing #BlogHer17. Our conference history has been rich with fabulous cities and venues: Chicago, New York, and five (!) different California cities. But we've never headed to the South, and it's definitely time we do so. I'm excited to announce that #BlogHer17 will take place in Orlando, Florida next summer!

As a creator, it's important to learn to love rejection. http://spr.ly/6267B7d6X
Rejection. It is a big, ugly word. No one likes to hear it. As a teen you learn to fear it from the opposite sex. As a writer you must not only learn to accept it, but love it. Image: Aaron Burden via Unsplash Rejection Happens

"I feel like I am living in a glass box, unable to truly connect with others. Unfortunately, this just comes across as being a snobby bitch." Can you relate?
On the extremely off chance that you ever see me out, just know that I am probably waiting for it to be over. If you acknowledge me, I will probably respond in a series of fragments I’m trying to pass off as small talk while I’m actually busy drowning in a sea of self-doubt. Does that sound melodramatic? Good. Because I am melodramatic. Public Domain Image via Pixabay

Social media doesn't have to be hard! These hacks will help make things easier. http://spr.ly/6261BfiBU
I love social media. It was literally designed for someone like me: a creative type who enjoys sharing, storytelling and expressing themselves. But as the years have gone by, we're only getting more apps, more sites, and more tools to do all of that stuff and well... it's overwhelming. How can one keep up?
