Does look canine at normal speed. Is that a curb it steps up onto? I'll probably watch it a hundred times now. :]

I like movies.google.com - BUT... but... it really needs to let you pick favorite theaters as a refreshable view.  I shouldn't have to keep changing zip code to view the metro area screens I'm interested in tracking.

http://traffic.libsyn.com/skeptic/038_Monstertalk.mp3 - This is by far the most downloaded episode of our show MonsterTalk.  Listen and I think you'll hear why.

Ok - this is probably the most obscure Easter Egg I have ever found in a movie.  This is a still-shot from the BluRay version of John Carpenter's The Thing.  I was wondering if the books had any meaning - for example, the title "Welcome to the Club" has a bit of an amusing tie-in to the theme of the film.  But what is "Seven Who Beat the Headsman?"  If you do any research you'll find about six references to the title of this fictional book, all from an episode of the TV show "Mrs Columbo."

At first I thought this meant that perhaps the fake book was just a prop shared by the studio - but then I went and looked up the reference in IMDB and found this interesting fact:

The "Mrs. Columbo" episode (1979) included the author of the book - fictional writer Ian A. Morly.  And who played Morly?  Long time Carpenter collaborator Donald Pleasance!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078635/fullcredits#cast

I don't think this is a coincidence.  I think I just revealed that Donald Pleasance was in The Thing!

Yes - that is a dog sitting on the toolbox of a truck going 50 MPH down the road.  It seemed pretty happy - but it did not have any restraining devices and if that truck got bumped on the side, the dog would be a goner.  Still, the dog did seem very content as we started and stopped along 41.

While dogs riding in truck beds and hanging out car windows might be content, I have to agree that owners need to take more responsibility for their pet's safety. According to the American Humane Association, 100,000 dogs die each year while traveling in truck beds. Hopefully by raising awareness, we can stop these unnecessary deaths.

Great food, delivered quickly. The food is flavorful and the service has always been very good. If you're in Kennesaw and need some Chinese food, this is a good choice.

TLDR: Just don't stay here. Don't do it - you'll do better to sleep in your car. It started with the lack of chairs. No chairs, and the phone didn't work. So I walked over to ask about the lack of chairs and was met with confused looks by the staff like "why would you need a chair?" Or maybe it was "what is this chair thing you speak of?" The carpet had a lot of weird stains. I assume they were blood. Or semen. Probably both, truth be told. The pillows on the bed were 1/4 the size I have at home. There were two of them. There was coffee and sweetener - but no coffee pot!? When I checked out early the staff warned me that the Holiday Inn I moved to would not have free breakfast (it did). This amused me since the "breakfast" at the Wyndham was cold pastries because their kitchen was (allegedly) being remodeled. There was a couch in the living room with a fold-out bed. Maybe. It may have just had a body stuffed in it. I didn't look. Pros: The roof didn't leak and I didn't get bed bugs. Cons: Everything else.
