I too have become a user and fan of Todoist for personal tasks (Asana for business). This is a nice primer on using it with Evernote.
If you’re looking to get more out of the productivity tag team of Todoist and Evernote, then here are 3 ways I use them to be insanely productive.

If ever in Helsinki, you owe it to yourself to experience the sauna, +Sompasauna. This open community sauna on the tip of Kalasatama is awesome.
Sompasauna and a route from Suvilahti and Kalasatama metro station is marked on a map.

+Stéphane Distinguin, Loved the art! I've been talking with +Kevin Smoutsin SF about Automotive and mobility. Looks like we should put our heads together to discuss #connectedcar opportunities in France and EU. Check out news on Samsung-backed +Vinli Developers.

Feeling confident about my choice to go with the Nexus 5X! I'm not concerned about reports on the battery thanks to the fast-charging USB-C connector.
With little to no compromise, these are now the Android phones to beat.

Update: battery and processor are weak. I traded it out for the 6P. Much better!

End homelessness in SF?! Check out +HandUp's unique approach to giving to the needy. Track how and when YOUR gift is used. I just bought a six pack to give out in SF. Google is matching 100%!
We all know that feeling when you walk past someone in need on the street and don't know how to help. Now you can give HandUp gift cards instead of cash.

I've been talking about +Sidewalk Labs since it launched and even made it part of my pitch at WearableWednesday SF. I'm super excited for the future of  #urbantech  and mobility. Google's bet on this space is great validation for entrepreneurs. http://www.slideshare.net/blake/wearable-wednesday-sf

Many of you are reading this post while living in a city. And you can probably think of a ton of ways you’d like your city to be better—more affordable housing, better public transport, less pollution, more parks and green spaces, safer biking paths, a shorter commute... the list goes on!

Many cities around the world have already made a lot of progress in some of these areas—for instance, developing dashboards to measure and visualize traffic patterns, and building tools that let residents instantly evaluate and provide feedback on city services. But a lot of urban challenges are interrelated—for example, availability of transportation affects where people choose to live, which affects housing prices, which affects quality of life. So it helps to start from first principles and get a big-picture view of the many factors that affect city life. Then, you can develop the technologies and partnerships you need to make a difference.

So I’m very excited about +Sidewalk Labs, a new company we’ve announced today. (The press release is at www.sidewalkinc.com if you want to read more).  Sidewalk will focus on improving city life for everyone by developing and incubating urban technologies to address issues like cost of living, efficient transportation and energy usage. The company will be led by Dan Doctoroff, former CEO of Bloomberg and Deputy Mayor of Economic Development and Rebuilding for the City of New York. Every time I talk with Dan I feel an amazing sense of opportunity because of all the ways technology can help transform cities to be more livable, flexible and vibrant.  I want to thank +Adrian who helped to bring Dan on board.

While this is a relatively modest investment and very different from Google's core business, it’s an area where I hope we can really improve people’s lives, similar to Google[x] and Calico. Making long-term, 10X bets like this is hard for most companies to do, but Sergey and I have always believed that it’s important. And as more and more people around the world live, work and settle in cities, the opportunities for improving our urban environments are endless. Now it’s time to hit the streets and get to work!
We're on the brink of a historic period for cities around the world. By 2050, the population in cities will double, intensifying existing socioeconomic, public health and environmental problems. At the same time, innovations in technology can be used to design communities that are more efficient ...

451 Research Associate Analyst Ryan Martin comments [on Vinli's series A funding]:

“Receiving the seal of approval from Samsung, Cox and Westly Group is a big nod for Vinli, connected car tech and the treasure trove of data that comes with it.

We expect Vinli will aggressively pursue both domestic and international growth as its newly minted investment dollars go to work. Competitors Automatic and Mojio, although far from complacent, will have to focus just as much on building their network of partner companies as on new product development to continue to run with Vinli – matching on price and full-blown 4G LTE connectivity simply gets you in the door.”

#connectedcar #mobility
Vinli, a connected car startup that develops a device to bring a suite of apps and services to older cars via smartphones, has raised $6.5m in series A funding. Fortune reports as valuable as the funding is what the investors bring in experience, which is advantageous to Vinli: Marketing, ...
