Do you ever take time to do NOTHING?"Doing “nothing” can actually increase your productivity."

Yes, being productive is good.Very good. But we often confuse productivity with being 'busy.'
The longer you work and the later you work, the more you are rewarded.
I read an article recently that described productivity as 'maximizing energy'
, not 'maximizing time'
, which was an enlightening reminder!
Working harder is not as important as working smarter.
More importantly, being consumed by every day tasks prevents you from taking those much needed breaksTaking time to do nothing is a key component of productivity.
Being intentionally unproductive is not
the same as shirking work or being lazy.
Taking 15 minutes out every hour to sip a cup of coffee, play with your pet, make one lap around the block, read one article...are all ways to cherish YOURSELF! Your brain needs time to rest. Your body needs time to heal. Your soul needs time to nourish.
So give your mind, body and soul a much needed break. Your creativity will thank you too...and your productivity? Well, it will hit the roof! ;)
In this fun article, the author lists ten reasons why productive people take time out to do nothing. How are you going to rest, relax and rejuvenate this weekend?
