If you haven't checked out our blog lately or read the latest tech news you may not have heard about the KRACK Attack so we decided to post here as well. KRACK Attack Puts Wi-Fi Connections at Risk. We are not talking about Public Wi-fi networks here, you should already know those are not secure. Instead we are talking about networks that most of us think are secure because they have a password. In fact a recent vulnerability was found in the standard protocol used on wireless networks.

http://money.cnn.com/2017/10/16/technology/wi-fi-flaw-krack-security/index.html

"United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) issued a warning on Monday that encouraged all Wi-Fi users to install updates when available. The organization is keeping a running list of affected vendors." https://www.kb.cert.org/vuls/byvendor?searchview&Query=FIELD+Reference=228519&SearchOrder=4

Depending if your domain and or hosting is with GoDaddy and/ or points to our servers or if you have content hosted externally on GoDaddy you may see issues with your websites.

"Domain registrar and web hosting company GoDaddy.com and all their hosted sites have been down for a while now, and while not a lot is known of the problem, there have been reports and a claim by Anonymous, stating it was them that orchestrated the attack.

While Anonymous do seem to claim for every attack on the web, this may be one that is true. A Twitter user named @AnonymousOwn3r claimed that they wanted to test how safe cyber security is. This comes days after Antisec apparently hacked an FBI agent’s notebook and found 12 million Apple UDID’s."

We have heard so many times about Flash coming to its end but is always seems to be still hanging on for dear life. But now with the very popular browser, firefox actually blocking it we may very well see the end to Flash. http://money.cnn.com/2015/07/14/technology/flash-firefox-facebook/index.html?iid=surge-stack-dom
