"Sometimes you gotta fight just to live your own life, make your own decisions free from others opinions. It's not selfishness it's adulthood"
-Marci Preheim

Dear Jesus,

I don't understand. I'm a loser, who can't even live up to this world's standards. But even when it feels like everybody else has either left me, or is trying to murder me with their law and good advice, you are still here, giving me a hug, telling me that you love me??? 😶😶😭😭💕💕

By the rules of the law’s game, we’re dead. So God says, “I’ll give you a new game. It’s called raising the dead.”

The Gospel of God’s grace takes away the leverage. Why? Because if I’m forgiven without condition, you can’t make me feel guilty. If God loves me, you can’t manipulate me by threatening to take away your love. If God knows my secrets and doesn’t condemn me, then you can’t use my secrets as blackmail. If you have power and threaten to use it against me and I don’t care, then your power ceases to be real power. Is there freedom in that? You tell me.
- Steve Brown, A Scandalous Freedom

Because of Christ, you are enough. You don't have to be perfect. Breathe. Rest. Relax. Be free. Live. #NoCondemnation

"You own everything that happened to you. Tell your stories. If people wanted you to write warmly about them, they should have behaved better."

"something I hate about the world today is you’re expected to be on call all the time. We carry phones around with us, so being ‘out’ is no longer a valid reason not to answer, or at least respond within a couple of hours. There has somehow become this expectation that if your phone rings you should answer it and that it’s rude not to. Where did this come from? In my opinion it’s ruder to expect an answer than it is not to give one.

No one is entitled to your time, or to speak to you whenever it’s convenient for THEM."

"If you sin, God isn’t going to do anything to you except die for you. He’s not going to bop you on the head; He’s not going to belt you in the chops."
