I've seen this going around for the past couple of days. It's a nice thought, but democrats are never going to make him leader of the senate. BUT, it doesn't matter. He's already one of the most powerful democratic senators, just by virtue of what he accomplished in this election.

Making sure that democrats take back the senate will make him MUCH more powerful. If Trump becomes president, that power significantly shrinks because Bernie will have no effect on Trump. But if it's Hillary, he can keep pulling her to the left from the senate.

If you want to see a SHRED of Bernie's vision come to pass, you need to do what you can to ensure that Hillary becomes president.

Little Debbie is OUT as the convention chair. Let's hope they go all the way and remove her as head of the DNC. You know what this means? Guccifer 2.0 is not full of crap, and that Julian Assange may well have the goods he's claiming to have.

I am now very, VERY worried and wondering why Assange is waiting to release what he has. She's going to officially become the nominee tomorrow night. I need for him to release what he has NOW, so that we're not stuck.
The leak came just days before the Democratic National Convention begins Monday.

Your desire to help Hillary win the election is belied by your willingness to publicly worry about this nonsense.

Debbie Wasserman Shultz is a trusted insider of both President Obama and Hillary Clinton. She did not run a "fair" process in the primary. It isn't clear to me how a fair process should work. Primaries are necessarily different than the general election.

I fully believe that if the Clinton and Sanders camps cooperate they will make a better primary process. This should happen ASAP as long as it helps the party defeat Donald Trump. If it reopens painful unhealed wounds it should wait until after the election.

I just dont understand the hatred for Wasserman Shultz any better than I understand the hatred for Clinton.

PS. As for dirt on Hillary. That doesn't even deserve discussion.

I've been saying this for weeks. If you disagree, you should directly address his point about privilege.

While you're at it, you should explain to me why you're planning on voting for someone who isn't even running for president. That's right, Jill Stein is not running for president. Wanna know how I can tell? The election is 15 1/2 weeks away, and she has precisely no field offices. Not in New York, Not in LA, and nowhere in between. There is no campaign here. But by all means, let me know when you find a field office. I still won't agree with you, but I will at least have a modicum of respect for you, for voting for someone who is actually running for president.

Yes, Hillary is a turd of a candidate, but she's not going to fuck up the Supreme Court or members of the LGBTQ community who would like to move freely about the country, and she is not going to empower violent racists who are committing hate crimes against brown and black people all across the country. She's the turd who will create less pain for people who don't enjoy the privilege of being able to throw away their votes.

I'm a liberal. I can't have that kind of damage against the most vulnerable among us on my conscience.
Only privileged groups can afford to risk a Trump presidency, the podcast host argued in an epic rant.

+Allan Finkelstein You're the one who left a childish, trolling comment on a post where you were specifically asked to make an intelligent comment directly countering what the article is about. No, I got it right.

Looks like racists aren't committed to their hate.
Let’s see if people put their money where their racist mouths are.

This is the number in June. If it defies history and doesn't move AT ALL (it will shrink considerably by September), that 22% are going to accomplish NOTHING other than to act as spoilers for Trump.

This is math. Jill Stein will NEVER be president, and the Green Party hasn't even managed to build a coalition wherein they get more votes in an election than they did in the prior election.

Am I excited about voting for Hillary? No, of course not. But I'm terrified by anyone the republicans land on next week (I'm not convinced it's going to be Trump) so I'm going to hold my nose, throw back a couple of martinis, and do what needs to be done.

Boo-hoo....

"Hillary is a downright mean person who continually gives the judicial system "the bird". 🖕

"I'm going to vote for Trump just because she pisses me off!" Boo-hoo-hoo.

I'm sorry, nevermind the domestic hell we'd be going through - but can you begin to imagine the foreign relations disaster he would be? Keep in mind not one foreign leader had endorsed him. Oh wait - Putin likes him. Perhaps our biggest enemy after China.

Clinton may piss you off, but Trump would wipe his ass with us and then try to sell it back as Trump Facial Cream. I'm not buying it.

I just need to say something to those who are considering voting for Jill Stein.

Shouldn't someone actually be running for president in order to get your vote? I mean, can we all agree that this a baseline requirement?

Does this look like the event schedule of someone who is running for president?

Can any of you give me the address of her closest field office to you? Anyone? Cause I can't find any.

She's not running for president, and I'm not going to pretend like she's a candidate.

I will be addressing the Gary Johnson situation in the coming days. #jillstein   #jillnothill

+Charles Forsythe calling folks "lunatic fringe" speaks to arrogance and patronizing dismissal.

I've engaged many of these Bernie or Bust ppl. Their thinking isn't very clear and they have more emotion than reason and even a weak attachment to "facts" on the ground - but they bring extraordinary heart and passion, and with some grace and patience extended towards them, they could be extraordinarily useful in defeating Trump.

What happened last night was GROTESQUE, and I'm still a little shell shocked.
That’s what the first night of the republican convention was: grotesque. It was grotesque, even by republican standards and I only made it half way through. I’m still shell shocked by what I saw, and I’m deeply saddened that Melania Trump is all anyone is going to talk about. She’s a stupid twit. She’s a ... Read more

Everyone I know is very much dug in +The Bitchy Pundit I think Benghazi went both ways. To anyone with a modicum of critical thinking ability, it laid bare the GOP witch hunt for Hillary. On the other hand, I talk to plenty of conservatives, here on G+ and elsewhere. They, and many libertarians were only more convinced after the hearings. We are sick of hearing about it, but they aren't.
Another problem is Guccifer 2.0. That is where I think the October Surprise could come from. A surprise e-mail dump on the eve of the election with some kind of bombshell in it. I do believe it's likely that Guccifer 2.0 is Russian, and working for Russia. I also know that Vladimir Putin despises Hillary with a red-hot passion. If I were in President Putin's shoes, I'd have Guccifer 2.0 drop something devastating on the eve of the election. It's what I would do if I wanted to take a candidate down.

All except that part about the Latinos becoming the largest minority group and a large percentage of them don't like black people. Even by 2060, with things going the way they are, the white population will still be nearly at 50% of the entire population. They will still be the largest racial group.

In addition, many blacks are unable to actively participate or even vote in society because of their criminal records or reliance on the government.

I'm a political junkie, turned bitchy by both political parties!
Introduction
I'm a political junkie, which keeps me in a constant state of agitation. This would make me a masochist if it weren’t for the fact that I was born bitchy. Following politics just allows me to share my natural gift with the public in a more focused way than would otherwise be possible.
