Calling all #Brummies! Why not visit the Library of Birmingham and get your photo taken, as part of a new heritage project which will be unveiled as part of a major exhibition this summer

Our photographer will be in the Library foyer today between 11am and 5pm on Saturday 20 May, taking photos of anyone who lives or works in Birmingham, to help build a picture of the city’s culturally diverse population in 2017, for the Connecting Stories exhibition.

We want Brummies of all ages and backgrounds to come along and pose for us. If you can’t make it today, a final session takes place on Monday 22 May (1pm to 5pm).

A selection of 150 images will be chosen to feature in the exhibition, which will open on 15 July 2017.
