It was a fantastic sunset off the coast of California, near Santa Cruz, that lead to this photo. The beautiful natural archway had a small flowing stream going under it that rarely flows due to our drought. A brave model volunteered to endure the chilly Pacific ocean for this photo!

These shots are from my first photo shoot with a model, named Irina, down in Santa Cruz.

I originally posted this in a Night Photography group, but here it is posted publicly. Please feel free to critique, as usual!
Deconstruction of the Bay Bridge, SF, California. I just went out to Treasure Island to try to get some photos of the deconstruction progress of the old Bay Bridge. There are more photos to come, but here is a quick edit. The photo was just taken about 3 hours prior to posting this! Please don't hesitate to tell me what you think.

The headlights of my Subaru BRZ. Taken earlier tonight during the "big storm" in the SF bay area. It was a challenge trying to keep my camera dry (it didn't happen!) while taking a bunch of different types of shots. I originally set out to photograph water bouncing off the surface of my car, but I found the "angry" eyes in the headlights looked pretty cool.

I wanted to play around with my tachometer using a long exposure (1.5 seconds). It took a while to figure out how to push the gas pedal from the passenger seat while my tripod took up the front seat, all while creating as little vibration as possible. I am really happy with the result, and I hope you like it too!

The thumbnail looks poorly compressed but when you click on it it seems to retain good quality.
