Be Thankful For The Season They Had
Mandatory Credit: CBS Sports I'm not the type of fan or blogger, that demands a World Series title. I'm not the guy that says it's World Series or the season has been a dismal failure. There are 29 other teams, more than half of whom are capable of winning ...

Eric Becker has today's Baseball Magazine short, explaining how Cal Ripken, Jr. wasn't the only one with an incredible streak that occurred on September 6th!
September 6th is a day that lives in baseball lore. The obvious reason for most baseball enthusiasts happened 20 years ago today. On September 6th, 1995, Cal Ripken, Jr. played in his 2,131s...

What Are The Odds?
Mandatory Credit: nydailynews.com What are the odds, that with exactly thirty games left in the 2015 regular season schedule, that the New York Yankees can pull it all together and come out as the AL East champions? Think about it for a moment. In July, the...

The Wild Card, Sabathia, What Does It All Mean?
Sabathia's is done for the rest of the season--albeit possibly only one game. By now, everyone knows the New York Yankees will be hosting the Houston Astros Tuesday night in the Bronx for the American League Wild Card game. Yankees' ace Masahiro Tanaka will...

Did the Sosa/McGwire chase of '98 save the game or did it just open of a can of things to come? It's today's Baseball Magazine daily short.
For me, there are few baseball memories as fond as the historic Home Run Chase of 1998. Looking back, that summer was the epitome of innocence. I would spend every morning going through the box sco...

Eric Gray makes his Baseball Magazine debut, and explores the extinction of the complete game in baseball.
Let me be clear, I am not a huge stats guy. I am also not a pitcher. I have not, since maybe in the Little League minors, or playing stickball with my friend Barry in high school, pitched a ball to...

Complete heartless jackasses. Saw Dr. Santosa a year ago for my gout. He wrote a prescription and when it was running low, to simply call the office to have a new script called in. I called the office, not once, not twice (disconnected the first two times after one ring) and the third time, I was informed that because Dr. Santosa was no longer with them, I would have to come back in for a new appointment. Really? Gout, much like any chronic illness isn't changing or going away. I requested that another doctor review my records and move forward with the requested script. Again, I was told no and that "I'm not going to fight or argue with you on this." I responded by saying "I'm not arguing, I'm simply asking your staff to do their job and treat me for something THEIR doctor already diagnosed." Needless to say, I'm still in excruciating pain, their clinic is a money racket, and the least of their concerns are the well-being of their patients.
