Quite possibly the greatest book ever written on filmmaking. And written by none other than Jerry Lewis.

So ... I guess Google voice rings through to a hangout now? Weird. Not sure I like that. I gotta say Google seems to be screwing up left and right lately and pissing a lot of people off. What is wrong with them?

Today is the birthday of both David Bowie and Elvis. If Elvis were alive today he would be dead. If Bowie were alive today he would be 67.

It breaks our political systems, as Congress is unable to provide any meaningful oversight and citizens are kept in the dark about what government does. It breaks our legal systems, as laws are ignored or reinterpreted, and people are unable to challenge government actions in court. It breaks our commercial systems, as U.S. computer products and services are no longer trusted worldwide. It breaks our technical systems, as the very protocols of the Internet become untrusted. And it breaks our social systems; the loss of privacy, freedom, and liberty is much more damaging to our society than the occasional act of random violence.

Happy to be a part of this! Had lots of fun making this video!

This is the short film I made with Hydraulic Pictures to show why St. Louis - hot, flat, ugly and half-abandoned - is still the future of the American Economy.

Come join us at Transition Economics 2014, May 19-21, 2014 right here in STL. More at www.transitioneconomics.net.

Probably best known for my video series Lo-Fi Saint Louis or maybe you've heard about my latest project a feature length documentary about brick in St. Louis (yes it's really an interesting topic!)

I direct movies, I'm a designer, I enjoy shooting photos with both my iPhone and my Canon 7D. I also own a Sony NEX FS100 and a Sony NEX 5N. I cut almost exclusively with Apple FCPX (made the switch from FCP7 and never looked back),

I share a wide variety of things including but not limited to the topics above. If we share interest you may enjoy following me on Google+ or on one of the social media links below.

Always a fun place to check out. They have a wide variety of St. Louis themed items as well as items that are locally made. You wont find a lot of typical tourist tchotchke's. The emphasis here is on hand crafts, vintage memorabilia, and local books, music and films. A must see place for tourists and for those looking to buy a St. Louis themed gift or for those who just want to shop local.

I tried this place at the old location and was kinda grossed out by the fact that it just didn't seem that clean. The food was never very good--tasted like they might be keeping the left overs in the fridge over night and just reheating it. After they moved I thought I'd give it another shot. Too bad, the place looks a little better but the food is the same old blah fare it was before. Maybe worse. I thought I was gonna get sick after eating there. Oddly the place is always busy, I guess some people just don't care what they put in their mouth. There are much better options for lunch downtown. Avoid.
