Mock drafts are a lot of fun and also recommended for fantasy owners. Here is my latest draft with my analysis of each pick. Feel free to chime in with your opinions.

Jerricho Cotchery surprisingly caught 10 TDs in 2013. Despite teaming up with Cam Newton, don't expect those same numbers this season. #fantasyfootball

Jerricho Cotchery was a viable wide receiver for the New York Jets. His best season was in 2006 as he played in all 16 games, catching 82 passes for 961 yards and six touchdowns. He then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2011. […]

Michael Vick agreed to a one-year deal with the #Jets. He's the best option for the team and the best to help #fantasyfootball owners.

Michael Vick will be wearing a different shade of green this season. He and the New York Jets agreed to a one-year deal worth $5 million. Just moments before the signing, the Jets announced that the team released Mark Sanchez, who has been with […]

Nelson Cruz signed a one-year deal with the Baltimore Orioles. Behind Chris Davis and Adam Jones, Cruz will be an excellent #fantasybaseball option as a OF4 or utility player.

The Baltimore Orioles are making a splash in the free agent pool. After signing pitcher Ubaldo Jimenez, they signed veteran outfielder Nelson Cruz to a one-year deal. Cruz had much success with the Texas Rangers and will strengthen the Orioles lineup as the No. 5 hitter. In his [...]

I agree -- Baltimore is a great landing spot. Between the LU and the park, he could push for 90 RBI.

The Braves and Andrelton Simmons agreed to a contract extension. Despite being ranked in the top-10, Simmons is still a nice sleeper SS with power numbers. #fantasybaseball

The shortstop position is not one of the deepest positions in fantasy baseball this season. There are two players worthy of being drafted in the first two rounds. After that, the remaining shortstops fall into the middle and later rounds. [...]

Aroldis Chapman suffered a horrific injury. In the meantime, J.J. Hoover is looking like the front-runner to take over the closing role. #fantasybaseball

Aroldis Chapman began the 2014 fantasy baseball season as the fourth-best closer in the league. He was behind Craig Kimbrel, Greg Holland and Kenley Jansen. Chapman has 76 saves in the last two seasons with a 2.00 ERA and 234 strikeouts. He is also one […]

Norv Turner becoming the new Vikings OC means one thing - Cordarrelle Patterson will be a top-20 fantasy wide receiver at the end of the 2014 season. #fantasyfootball

The Minnesota Vikings finished at the bottom of the NFC North just one year after making the playoffs as a Wild Card team. The team has some star players on both sides of the ball, but the quarterback play has been horrible [...]

The 2014 baseball season is still fairly young, but there are a lot of injuries, especially to pitchers. Here is the updated injury report for fantasy-relevant starting pitchers. #fantasybaseball

Starting pitchers may be the most susceptible players to injuries. In a blink of an eye, a muscle can tear or a ball is sent back in their direction. They also have to, occasionally, run and cover first base, which [...]

Michael Pineda may finally pitch for the Yankees in the regular season this year. If he's available in your draft in the later rounds (8-12), then take a chance on the young pitcher. #fantasybaseball

2014 may be the year where fantasy owners and baseball fans will finally see Michael Pineda in a New York Yankees uniform. After missing the last two seasons while recovering from shoulder surgery, the 25-year-old pitcher has been on the fast track [...]
