After letting it lapse, I just retook--and passed--my Google AdWords certification. Woohoo!

Yes, much has changed since I was last certified. A few hours reading Google's Exam study guides, navigating the Google AdWords interface and reflecting on successful campaigns I've run helped prep me for the 180 questions across two separate exams.

I don't expect anyone to be thrilled by my shiny new certification alone. My experience and the refresher self-training means my AdWord skills are relevant in 2016. More importantly, my skills go beyond this very important advertising channel. AdWords has an important place, but needs to be balanced with other skills in strategic and tactical marketing, consumer behavior and campaign development.

35 million + images are now available for bloggers to embed. My blog post describes the excitement. The comment summarizing @jbenton's analysis describes reasons for caution.
Getty Images makes much of its photo portfolio free to use. I'm excited. Here's why you should be excited too.

Very suspenseful. Now I want to see the full length version. Hoping no animals or actors took a bullet so you could get a degree ;-)
