Tony, what I like about you the most is that you tell it like it is and you have the brains to prove it.

Springtime around the pond. The turtles are enjoying the sun. The geese are back and some are guarding their nests.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but clearly you weren't their first choice. So, given the situation, I think you should have done the job. Any publicity is good for you. You work very hard to network yourself, you would have looked very good for doing the job last minute and could have set your terms for next time. Just my 2 cents.

Is this what they call expert now? Compass up, damage indications, a moving map, 2 missed kills, chasing a damaged bird to the deck and a terrible landing approach?

You want to grab more viewers, have your Dad on more often. That was the most entertaining episode I've seen in a while. Good stuff !

You've done it again Mike! Seems like every photographer who thinks they have something to say or have lots of people blowing smoke up their rear ends have a website, youtube page and a book or two. Some who seem to have more cash than others travel the world to exotic locations, taking lots of pictures to woo their faithful followers. Truth be told, you could hand their 4 grand camera to a 5 year old and say shoot the pretty volcano and you would get the same result.

I'm not putting them down, we all have to make a living, I'm trying to make a point. I have watched most of your videos and you are different. You see things differently. You can make something out of nothing and you explain it in a way that even I can understand what your saying. The way you see light and shade is amazing. I don't know how you haven't been 'found' by a magazine or even a school to keep passing your talents on. Well, I rambled on enough and I'm not a rambler! Your just so incredibly talented at what you do, it just blows my mind.

There was a time, many years ago, when going to a car dealership was a big deal. I remember how everyone was so polite and respectful. Where you were treated like you were someone that was important. Where the cars were the stars and the floors sparkled. In my own experience, this special feeling that you only experienced a handful of times in your life has changed. Most of the dealers that I had shopped at before visiting Faulkner Toyota changed the entire car shopping scenario. One had me standing outside while they looked for cars to show me. Another, the showroom was so dirty they had all the lights off. The salesmen looked like they just rolled out of bed. I could go on and on but I'm sure you get the idea. Funny thing is you start to think that the sloppy, unprofessional treatment might be the norm today. Then I went to Faulkner Toyota. Driving in you could notice a difference already. The lot was spotless. Everything in it's place. Walking up to the dealer you were greeted not attacked. As you walked on to the sales floor it took me back to the days of when the customer was important. The showroom was under construction and still looked better then the other dealers that I had visited before coming here. The floors sparkled, the cars shined, the sales people all looked professional. I was introduced to Marc Handelsman, he was my salesman. Honestly, couldn't ask for a nicer guy. Everything you would want in a salesman. Very professional and down to earth. Didn't have us running all over the lot. Sat down with us, found out what we wanted and then brought the cars around the front. When it was time to take the car out for a road test, he told me to take my time and drive it. He said, don't just drive it around the corner, you are about to spend a lot of money. Drive it. Be sure this is what you are looking for and that you are satisfied in your decision. When it came time to make the deal he listened and was very fair. He gave me the most of any of the dealers I had visited for my trade. After the deal was made, this is when the comparisons to the dealership that I went to with my Grandfather and the dealership of today ended. The all day sitting and waiting for the paperwork to get done was a thing of the past. Marc knew what he had to do, he was printing out papers as we signed others. It was the fastest time from the start of the paperwork, till we were in our new Toyota and on our way home, that I had ever experienced. That was my honest experience and I'm still very satisfied. My only regret in the whole car shopping thing is that I didn't go to Faulkner's first. Trust me, don't waste your time with other dealers. Make it easy on yourself and go to Faulkners first.
