Well, it's been about a year of hard work... but finally got the big project wrapped up at work.

Still plenty of stuff that I need to get done, but for now I'm happy to be in a place where I can spend some time working on tavern keeper.

She was, of course, doxxed within an hour of posting this. As always, the strongest argument against GG is... GG itself.
I had a day off this weekend from shooting Supernatural, and I was walking around downtown Vancouver on Saturday, sampling all the artisan coffee I could get my throat around. At one point I saw a pair of guys walking towards me wearing gamer shirts. Black short-sleeved, one Halo and one Call of Duty.  Now in my life up until this point, that kind of outfit has meant one thing: Potential comrades. I love games, I love gaming. If it’s Friday nig...

Well, it's slightly more of a contained sandbox than Galaxies was at the start.

Right now Kristi and I have a pretty large farm, and a cottage.  (which consists of two mid sized farms, and like 5 small farms)

We just ran our first cross-the-sea trade run, which was honestly a little nerve wrecking.

There's a lot of little things that I've enjoyed discovering ... such as the family system. (Which is just Kristi and me, and like 4 of our alts) ... but allows us to share our property.

When I first saw the naval combat thing about a year ago, I thought it was rather gimicy ... and a total joke.  But it's kind of fun in an unexpected way.

Seriously   #redactor  ? The only way to use the editor in an open source project is to shell out $500 for the OEM License.

#github  ,   #codeclimate ,   #travisci   and more or less every other dev tool I would pay for is free for an open source project!

Guess I'm pulling you out of TavernKeeper.

In the end I'm not sure what it will happen.

This feels like the right decision to make, we are by no means stepping away, as TK is still a something I use on almost a daily basis; but by opening it up like this we can as community achieve more than Kristi and I could alone.

Way over dramatic ... but got a good chuckle or two out of it.
Every friend I have with a job that involves picking up something heavier than a laptop more than twice a week eventually finds a way to slip something like this into conversation: "Bro,1 you don't work hard. I just worked a 4700-hour week digging a tunnel under Mordor with a screwdriver." ...

That's just awesome Verizon.
Verizon made an enemy tonight. On a flight back to New York I read Level 3's assessment of the latest round of the Netflix vs Internet Provider debacle. The summarized version is that basically Netflix is slow because Verizon refuses to add capacity to peer with Level 3.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, we had a small hickup this morning when amazom attempted to deploy an update (and triggered an update on our AWS instances)

It should be fixed soon, this happened about an hour ago.
