What we know about the Hyperloop thus far can be summed up in a few exclamatory phrases: It’s visionary! It’s crazy! It’s impossible! But we haven’t really understood much about how Elon Musk’s totally tubular transportation system might actually work—until now.

Here's an example of less-than-exciting run. Not all the runs are perfect, but that's backcountry skiing for you!

Here's video of a typical run during my first week at Last Frontier Heli. They didn't have too much snow this year -- one guide said it was the least snow he'd ever seen -- but we still had a blast!

Great video! I've snowboarded at the lodge next to this one. Each lodge has its own terrain. (They don't share.) CMH Galena is pretty similar to this except that I've been told the runs aren't as long. Still, the "features" are a lot of fun!!
DREAMS COME TRUE AT CMH. Last winter Salomon Freeski TV shot in December and January at CMH Monashees. With over 2 feet of fresh snow during filming, the conditions were as good as it gets! Titled Dreamland, the new episode features the Monashees famed steep runs along with the best tree skiing ...

+Corey McEntyre and I went skiing in Switzerland for the weekend! What an experience!!! I loved the architecture as much as the mountain views.

Here's what it looks like to take the heli-chairlift up for another run.

Food was amazing. Chef and crew were very personable. We had a blast during dinner.

Very clean and we'll organized hostel. Lars was friendly and helpful. It was a little annoying having to walk up/down to Basecamp with my luggage. Other than that, no worries, I had a blast. His high efficiency set up was interesting to see in practice too.

My cousin invited me over to celebrate his graduation from upper ed. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. The place is small, but that didn't detract at all. I'll go back -- and this coming from someone who's not a huge sushi fan.

I've been going to Joey for over a year now. I go once a week (literally, every week). The food is great. The price is reasonable for what you get. There are plenty of TVs in the bar for watching sports. During the summer, they open the walls up in one section of the dining area so you can almost sit outside.

This is a very nice, simple restaurant. There's no extra fluff found in other of the O&B restaurants. I go to dinner here almost every week. The staff are always friendly (to me and the people eating around me). Free WIFI is nice too. The sweet potato fries are the best I've had.

I first saw Stephanie's artwork at a CMH lodge in British Columbia. The piece forced me to walk up to it. the colors were amazing. There was so much to see in it -- and all it was was a simple landscape! It was breath taking. I contacted her soon after my return. My wife and I bought the painting she had on her home page at the time. The others were great too, but there was something about the glow from the moon in the painting we purchased that called to us. Stephanie has re-painted a painting we found on her web site for us. We are to receive it soon. We are very excited. In all cases, working with Stephanie has been great. The texture in her paintings adds a three dimensional quality that I enjoy. The colors are thoughtful and help to evoke either a smile or a sense of calm.
