So close. So. Damn. Close. The Remedy 9 is a great bike that's one crucial (and expensive) component away from perfection..... Check out our video review of the Trek Remedy. http://bit.ly/13cDjJ1

Southern Californians have a reason to be happy: Big Bear opens with a bang today--all new DH trail (Miracle Mile) gets first tracks today and the resort plans on adding an intermediate and beginner top-to-bottom trails by summer's end. Check out the video to see the goods. http://bit.ly/13TmIIR

An $89 clutch-equipped derailleur? Cool. SRAM updates their 10-speed shifters (X0, X9, X7) and brings Type 2 down to the X7 rear derailleur. http://bit.ly/13Q26op

No doubt old stuff is still good at its job! My 1994 XT was in service for more almost 15 years. As opposed to the usually smaller improvements that we see being introduced every year, this clutch technology really looks to me like more than just a refinement.

Stellar video (thank you, Mr. Mike Gamble) on the iconoclasts from North Shore Billet. It's sort of like The Matrix had a love child with your favorite bike-porn video. Nice stuff. http://bit.ly/18fW0Rz
