How Much Water Per Week For Florida Lawns? Set a tuna can on the lawn and wait to see how long it takes to fill up per zone. Then divide that number by 3 and set your irrigation by the divided number three days per week. Early in the morning is best to avoid fungal issues. Example zone 1 took 1 hour to fill a tuna can divided by 3 = 20m, so set your sprinkler for 20m per zone three days per week.
