This article about Specialized industrial designer Brian Szykowny is old, but still worth sharing. Interesting, but I'm not sure about this quote: "Industrial designers are the magical bridge between how an engineer makes a product work, and how it ultimately looks to the end user." Visual styling is part of ID, but there is much more to it than that. Thoughts?

No shortage of 1990 style neon at Eurobike. Not sure I am ready, but my old Bolle Graffiti shades would totally be in style again.

Oskar Juhlin, designer of the IKEA Sladda bike, explains the goal of the project... to create a bike that is "as multi-functional as possible", and affordable for the many. So what are your thoughts on the 699 Euro price tag? Will it appeal to the masses (that blue ocean of current non-cyclists that we talk about from time- http://buff.ly/2bgmVXB)?
