Nice place to shop, walk around and eat. But they need to do something about the "visitor booths" which are just RUDE people trying to sell you a timeshare. As new guests to the area on the off season, my Fiancee and I were looking for restaurant suggestions but all we got was a sale pitch and the promise of free tickets after going to a 2 hour seminar. No thank you. We ate at The Flying Fish Grill and it was AMAZING! Typical tourist stores with typical kitschy items.

Our family loves this place. Family friendly. Lots of food options. Prices not jacked up like typical tourist trap. Monday nights they have free Fireworks. Really nice too.

I love barefoot landing. We usually try to make it there once a trip. Our favorite place to eat there is Yamato Japanese Steakhouse. I was excited to see there was a Marbles: The Brain Store added. Definitely a great place to stop in an pick up a cool gift. Some of the other attractions we have enjoyed visiting are the mirror maze and the Tiger Store. The fudge and taffy shops are also pretty good. There are so many unique shop, it makes for a great day out shopping.

Awesome shopping area best experienced at night. Plenty to see and do, plus quite a few excellent restaurants to choose from.

I have been going to Barefoot off and on for the last 15 years. Its nice to go through "some" of the shops but you really have to watch your money here. Prices are outrageous and the shops depend on tourists getting caught in the impulse. We arrived today (Sept 3) with our daughter to go through some of the shops and to let her ride the couple of rides at Barefoot. We walked to the carousel and no one was around. I asked one of the guys who worked at one of the neighboring shops if the rides were open, he said, "Yes, actually the girl sitting over there smoking the cigarette is running the rides." I had to track her down to get her to come over and operate the ride. Not good customer service. Also, both ATMs were out of service when we wanted cash. Otherwise, the shops we did go into were nice and we found a couple of unique items that we would not find back home. Yes, way overpriced. Also, watch out for the "customer service" booths offering coupons and free stuff. They are Wyndam sales people in disguise and once you approach the window to buy tickets you will have to here their sales pitch. Ugh.

Nice atmosphere; could have a few better stores. Chico's isn't unique anywhere.
