Work 50 hours 5 days a week, and then try in vain to fit family, friends and ME into the weekend. Yes, you get to bike for 3-4 hours every Saturday morning, but is this really what memories are made of? Short bike ride, a trip to the mall with the wife and kids, and a few drinks with the guys. Doesn’t it feel like one compromise after the other?
We have the solution. And it’s just a 3 hour drive from the Metro.
San Pablo, Laguna is a short drive away from the heart of your routine. It boasts of seven lakes, two mystical mountains, countless unpaved nature trails for hiking and biking, and a house where you can take in most of the beautiful imagery.
One of the oldest cities in the country, San Pablo is a haven for the weekend warrior. Ride the Golden Triangle trail network, a forty kilometer adrenaline rush that begins with a 12km, 450meter gradual ascent to a vantage point then a challenging downhill run through giant fern and mossy forest as we weave our way around the foothills of Mt. San Cristobal. All the while the rest of the family enjoys art and cooking classes in Casa San Pablo. Cap off your weekend with a hike up Mt. Banahaw from Bangkong Kahoy and educate the kids in conservation and eco-living.
Give yourself and your family the weekend they deserve!
