Nun, wife, widow, single mom, divorcee, bereaved mother, and happily remarried since 1996. Award-Winning author of The Scent of God -- a Book Sense notable for April 2006, named a "Best of 2006 Minnesota Authors," by the Minneapolis Star Tribune. A View of the Lake was released June 2011 and named Best Regional Book by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

I was a columnist for 10 years with the Cook County New Herald and freelance writer for various regional and national print and online publications. Published in the anthology Surviving Ophelia edited by Cheryl Dellasega, and in The New Writers Handbook, Volume 2
