This is an exciting project our lab is happy to be a part of! If funded 10% of the proceeds with go directly to the Center for Pollinator Research at Penn State University and another 10% will go to the Xerces Society. We need your help so please consider donating to this great project!
“The Lost Bee” is a children’s eBook app that teaches about honey bees with a moving story and games that replicate honey bee jobs.

Here's another great conference for the East coasters.  I will be running a queen rearing workshop  during this conference.

These required a lot of TLC over this winter. The hive were in one of our storage rooms with heaters pointed at them. Additionally, I wrapped them with foam insulation. I have been feeding them sugar syrup on the warmer days when they are active. We're finally seeing temperatures in the 50s and 60s so hopefully they'll start building back up and i am planning on feeding them a pollen substitute this next week.
