Of course they are for my Sun Shadow Ice & Snow, Seasons on the Panhandle Trail exhibit, but I've been intending to create this set and if they are popular I will carry them after my exhibit as well.

I have grown to love this painting so much, and I chose it as my featured artwork for my fifth annual Seasons Along the Panhandle Trail exhibit. I'm framing it today in preparation for the event, and just enjoying my last look at it before it's behind glass.

She waited until the sun was halfway below the horizon to the west, then turned and looked above the horizon to the east, and there it was, glowing red against the vivid deepening cobalt of the eastern sky.

To love and be loved is one of our most important gifts in life, and love is complicated, it creeps into every part of us, so are our memories.

If they're going to sleep all over my desk, they are going to be sketched, all in one continuous line.

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years...Once Moses came indoors there was no turning back, and she didn't even look outside, acting as if "out there" wasn't there at all. But she'd been lying in the sun coming in the basement door and followed it across the floor as it moved...out the door. Well, what was a kitty to do? She looked at me hopefully with that lovely gray tabby face, and gave me one of her sweet, silent meows.

The stripes made me do it! No, we have not always been a household of solid-color cats. These cards were block printed, a technique wherein the artist carves the surface of a piece of linoleum, leaving raised areas which will become the image.
