Best Service Ever. This dealership has customer service down to a fine art. Honda builds the best car -- dollar for dollar. Super reliable and excellent function. Berlin City Honda is where I have purchased 6 Honda vehicles. Daniel Kahn, sales associate, was tremendous. Daniel facilitated the purchase process without ever 'selling'. Service after the sale is a great marker of quality and customer respect. Post sale service has been outstanding. This is a true marker of excellence.

This past weekend I got a 2015 Honda Civic at Berlin City Auto. I delt with Dan Kahne and he was fantastic! He worked with me so that my payments would be affordable for myself. He was not pressuring me into a car. I would highly recommend Berlin City Honda! Ask for Dan!
Response from the owner - a month ago
we loving hearing these stories. I know Dan enjoys knowing that he was able to help you with your car. All the best and enjoy your new Civic.

This guys are a ripe off. They sold us two cars and then repo them from us, not becuase of credit but because they made a mistake and charged us less than what they wanted to make. But they took them back a week after we purchased them. worse customer service I ever encountered.

My wife and I just purchased our second vehicle from Berlin City and we couldn't be happier with the customer service and price. The communication from the sales, service and finance departments has always been timely and 100% focused on taking care of our needs. The new facility is outstanding and we have nothing but praise for everyone at Berlin City. Buying a new vehicle can be a very stressful experience but we would highly recommend anyone looking for a new Honda to give them a chance to earn your business.

I bought my 2014 CR-V from Steve at Berlin City Honda. Everyone was so nice in the dealership and made me feel comfortable especially my salesman Steve! He made my car buying experience easy. TraciAnn, my finance person, was amazing and helped me get my new car. I couldn't have accomplished this without her. I highly recommend Berlin City Honda!
Response from the owner - 2 months ago
Hi Susan. great to know that you are enjoying the CR-V. It's an excellent choice. We appreciate knowing that your visit meet all your expectations. Enjoy the ride of your new Honda.

Having trouble with keys not sliding into doors and ignition (2004 Honda Pilot). "Brad" says the car has been checked over recommends $1250 worth of ignition and door lock replacement/new keys. I told him to go ahead with the ignition repair (thankfully they had to order a part, and the work wasn't done). Meanwhile, my daughter is waiting for the work to be done. She waits a total of 3 hours, only to get a "laundry list" of about $4,000 worth of "repairs" that need to be made on the car. I called a locksmith who recommended WD-40 for the door locks. Magic! They work great now. Saved $600 that Brad wanted for changing out the door locks. The locksmith also said he could replace the ignition for a much more reasonable cost. Meanwhile, my regular mechanic says the "laundry list" is preventative work, but not necessary. So, by not returning to Berlin City Honda I will save about $5,000! I sure can use the money for something else!!!

Please accept an apology for the service visit on your Pilot that you were not completely satisfied with. The work that we recommended on the ignition, door lock and key replacement is a long term solution to the problem that exists. I see that you were disappointed regarding the repairs and maintenance items reviewed with you in the complimentary Multi Point Inspection report. The work recommended for the vehicle comes from a highly trained factory Honda technician as a suggestion to extend the life and performance of your Pilot. In many cases items are not critical to the operation of the vehicle, yet are items that you may want to consider to maintain the longevity of your Pilot. My staff is committed to sharing valuable information with our Honda customers so that they are not returning as often to have their vehicle serviced. Please know how much I appreciate hearing from you. If you would like to directly speak on your visit I would welcome your call. Nick Sansone Service Manager 207-774-1429 x 315831

Great dealership in every aspect. Bought a new Accord from them around 6 months ago. Andrew was great, didn't try to play any games like other dealerships out there. They even went above and beyond with an issue I had after the purchase that wasn't their fault at all!
Response from the owner - a month ago
Kyle, we are always working to enhance your relationship with our store. Great to know we were able to help with the issue you had with the vehicle. Thanking for posting this information.

After my car failed a state inspection because it needed new rear shocks and apparently a new front sway bar (and after I had THREE different garages confirm that the sway bar absolutely did not need to be replaced), I made an appointment to have the shocks replaced because the price I was given for both parts and labor was far cheaper than that elsewhere (although, I knew I was going to bring my car to one of the other three garages to get the sticker as all of them said they'd give me one as long as the shocks were replaced). I hated to do so, because it already seemed they were so dishonest, but I'm on a budget and that's the bottom line. When I scheduled the appointment, the woman with whom I spoke was incredibly confused (I didn't know why, as I had not only made it very clear that I simply needed new rear shocks, but also she was viewing my information on the computer that included details about the failed inspection) and rather rude. The following day, I received a confirmation email that said, under "reason for appointment," something like "not sure what to put here" which didn't make any sense as, like I said, it was a simple enough request and I made it very clear what needed to be done. I wanted to be absolutely sure the garage would know why my car was there the day of the appointment, and that the shocks would arrive on time, so I immediately called and spoke to a young man who said the notes indicated that my car would be in to have the rear shocks replaced. I asked him twice EXPLICITLY to make sure the appointment was to have BOTH rear shocks replaced and I had him confirm the price with absolute certainty. He told me they would never have priced changing out just one shock, as that's not something that is ever done, and guaranteed the price [of about $350]. I dropped my car off the morning of my appointment several hours early. Later that morning, I received a call from the garage letting me know that THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT MY APPOINTMENT AND THEREFORE HAD NOT ORDERED THE SHOCKS. Even after I had gone out of my way to call and confirm the appointment. I couldn't believe it. I tried to convey my dissatisfaction and frustration as best as I could to the man with whom I spoke, but he could not have seemed less concerned and apologetic than he did. I spoke with several different people that day and not one of them made any effort to apologize or show any sympathy for what had happened (not once did I raise my voice or speak inappropriately to any of them). Several hours later, after I had to call back multiple times after being told I would receive a call back, it finally came to fruition that THE PRICE I WAS GIVEN WAS FOR ONE SHOCK, NOT TWO, despite EXPLICITLY being told SEVERAL TIMES that the $350 was for BOTH rear shocks and that it wouldn't even make sense to have priced one shock since they're only changed in pairs. I was dumbfounded. I cannot conceive of how these people made so many terribly inconvenient mistakes and showed absolutely no signs of remorse, even when I went to collect my keys and pick up my car. They simply could not have cared less. As a whole, they are incredibly unprofessional, to put it mildly, and I found my service experience to be among the worst ever, anywhere, especially considering how very, very badly they screwed up. It was the worst experience I've had anywhere, and I honestly still can't believe it happened.
