California released yesterday another set of regulations for watering lawns, again nothing about the water used for livestock and to grow livestock feed was mentioned. Yet: ● 47% of California's water footprint is associated with meat and dairy products, and only 4% with household use. Animal Agriculture is a big offender: Livestock and their byproducts account for at least 32,000 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, or 51% of all worldwide greenhouse gas emissions.
