Hey +T-Mobile ! Look! My Z3 Tablet Compact works just fine on +AT&T 's network.
And, at twice the speed at my house...

Check out my Ookla Speedtest result. What's your speed? http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/1174990266

Let's band together and fix a problem that most other parts of the world don't have! The number of tablets being manufactured with true phone capabilities (dialer, SMS, MMS...) is growing fast. Yet wireless providers here in USA, such as +T-Mobile , refuse to see them as phones, instead classifying them as tablets and only offering them data plans.
This needs to end. There is no reason for this restriction.
If you agree, sign here. Let's show them we want to keep pace with the rest of the world that already allows these great devices to do what they were designed to do!

I have been able to put a data only SIM on my Ultra, without any protests from the T-Mobile staff even if I told them that is a "phone". They gave me the SIM and put me on the data only plan. I don't know if it is different for branded devices, though.

I did something very similar to what +Matts Lindmark is talking about years ago with prepaid accounts on ATT (I think I had the International Note w/4G+ unlimited on their prepaid 'Go' account or something like it believe it or not!....forget exactly how that happened but they had a different emei, I know that.

But of course it would be of interest to me.  Please, go for it!  I look forward to reading it, and then probably downloading many of the apps.  By the way, did you ever provide a more formal review of your Z3 Tablet Compact? Thanks.

Att and Verizon do, you simply activate the plan and give the imei, for att it's simple Sim based, pop in an active chip and you're good

ATTENTION ALL Z3 TABLET COMPACT OWNERS OR THOSE THINKING OF BUYING ONE!!

MY LTE SGP621 HAS BEEN RENDERED USELESS BY +T-Mobile AFTER UPGRADING MY PLAN TO "TRULY UNLIMITED"

Edit: I have since activated my tablet on +AT&T and it is working as it should.

If you live in the US, +AT&T is the way to go...

+Jason Chalmers I live in NH and am generally in the area in and around Manchester, NH's biggest city. Coverage is fine, same dead spots as +T-Mobile ... I've noticed that speeds are about the same in the city and slightly faster in the areas outside the city.

Introduction
I've left Facebook for good and although not one single person I was friends with came with me, I'm happy I made the switch.

I am the manager of a tire shop. I am a stereotypical "geek". An Android fan. A gadget collector. Car stereo installer. Computer tinkerer. I design houses. I compose some odd music some times. I'm left handed and right winged.
Bragging rights
My wife and two sons are my own little world, and I'm okay with that.

First of all, everyone complaining about child safety needs to learn how to be a parent and watch their own children. Do you expect someone to babysit for you when you go to the park? What's the difference? Bonkers does not advertise that they provide nanny service, so don't expect it. Food? Great. The sweet potato fries are delicious. Games? Tons. The card system they use is more convenient than lugging tokens and tickets all over the place. The jungle gym is enormous. $20 gets you into it and on every ride for the day. And cleanliness... Bonkers has the only jungle gym that doesn't smell like pee. In the short time we were there, we saw at least four employees washing the games and tables. I don't think it's dirty at all. My two sons are 9 and 2. They each had a blast. (I had fun too...) I would recommend this place to any parent who: •Knows how to keep track of their children. •Wants to have a good meal without having to leave and come back. •Wants their kids to have fun. •Understands that this place is here to make money, not to give everything away for free.

Most of the bad reviews are a year old. I never came here a year ago, so I can't confirm or deny how bad it was. But I've been here a few times over the last few months, and I have no complaints. Good food.
