The Entrance by +Thorsten von Eyb
#photography   #followfriday   #ff

if my memory is right, thorsten was the first to invite me to the "münchner fotografen" group, where i joined some photowlks already with more to come. and although his photography style is much more diverse than mine, there are some shots that would fit in my own portfolio and i wish they'd be mine :D this is one of them ...

make sure to check out his work and don't hesitate to circle him, he's just joking about not wanting more followers ;)

Looking Good | Berlin 2014

This photo is from my Berlin trip last summer and was taken on a (highly recommended) tour through the old airport Berlin Tempelhof. The woman tying up her hair was our tour guide.

An (involuntary) fresh start

With the introduction of Google Photos I wanted to organize my Photo Library, but by deleting my old unsorted photos in it, I deleted all of my posts on Google+ with it. So thanks for nothing, Google!

Just wanted to let you know that I'm not quitting Google+ and to warn you of the manner of functioning …

thanks +Sven Tiffe, +Aravind Krishnaswamy, +James Gallagher for your tips. Sadly I normally empty my trash directly after deleting things and I did it with those photos, too, before noticing it affected my posts. So undeleting them isn't an option anymore.

But as I said in German: I'm more or less over it. Google Photos is beautiful and I use it to archive all my photos now. Undeleting would have given me chaos in there again, because my metatags on photos are off after processing them. My plan is now to completely archive the photos and share highlights from there again over the next few weeks/months together with new stuff i'm working on. also i'll make selected albums public in the end. I believe it will be better sorted than before and so i'm positively looking forward to it now. Thanks for that, Google ;)

Maybe as a feature request as it seems you guys are working on Google Photos: Editing metadata in the informations tab of the photos (or even bulk editing for a selection of photos) would be much appreciated. Currently i'm working on all photos i have in ExifTool.

Darkness and Light by +Mark Rösel
#photography   #followfriday   #ff

and again it is time for a followfriday post. this one is by a member of the +Muenchner Fotografen  community and the photo shows the subway station josephsburg in munich. it's one of the places i have on my own "photographic to do list" and now the bar is very high :)

and don't forget to circle the author. most of his photos are similar to my style, so if you enjoy mine, i'm sure you'll be amazed by his work.
