+Eve Andersson's awesome ElephantPi app for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eveandersson.elephantpi makes learning digits of π fun and, er... just a bit addictive. Celebrate this century's (middle-endian) Pi day 3/14/15 in style and enjoy cute and colorful animated elephants while you're at it.

I've been using this to secure my Google account in Chrome (where it serves as a convenient replacement for six-digit OATH TOTP codes) both with a Plug-Up key http://www.amazon.com/Plug-up-International-U2F-SK-01-FIDO-Security/dp/B00OGPO3ZS and with a YubiKey Neo https://store.yubico.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21&products_id=72 (converted to U2F mode) and I am quite pleased. Looking forward to broader FIDO U2F support!

I think I might be an addict... the espresso is so good! Afterward, I feel much more alert for a while too.

Your coffee mugs contain much more caffeine than our espresso. The alert sensation is a placebo effect...

I mis-clicked once on a YouTube search result and ended up at https://www.youtube.com/watch_videos?more_url=&video_ids=QHpvlr_kG6U%2CDW8rg6XeP3U%2Celsh3J5lJ6g%2CXZaE4TY09C8%2CtW7mDSOwJ6Y%2CsJBpMkvCvWs%2CDkLTkVGu2vE&type=13&feature=artistob and now my 5- and 3-year old kids are totally addicted to Lenka. Awesome videos, catchy if slightly repetitive tunes.

This year's middle-endian Pi Day is fast approaching (and it's a nice rounded approximation too, 3.1416) so break out that Elephant Pi app for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eveandersson.elephantpi or use the web-based Pi Trainer http://www.eveandersson.com/pi/pitrainer/ (both by +Eve Andersson) to prepare. #🐘pi #πday #piday

This is awesome! Thanks for highlighting it, +Úlfar Erlingsson.

That's her LEM landing code threatening to fall over on her.
This is a great photo I just ran across on the internets. It said it was “Margaret Hamilton, Apollo program”, but it did…

I love this terminal app. The use of volume down for control key and the multiwindow support make it a pleasure to use. Unfortunately mine is stuck now and always quits back to the launcher immediately because I have a typo in the startup shell path and apparently there's no fix without clearing app data, which I hate to do because that includes my KBOX home directory. Is there any workaround? Edit: in case it matters, the phone is not rooted.

+Stefan Sittler, this made me think of you and of Winsor McCay - 1911 - Little Nemo

Edit: also see the original strips: https://archive.org/details/LittleNemo1905-1914ByWinsorMccay

Visit our homepage to see today's interactive doodle celebrating the 107th anniversary of American cartoonist and animator Winsor McCay's most famous work.

What do you think of our rendition of Little Nemo?

+Rebecca Middleton made cocoa mix and brought it on the family camping trip for Iris's school last weekend. We enjoyed it while watching the ocean of fog covering the Alamo and Walnut Creek area. (apologies for the poor photo quality, it was a cellphone and the foreground was heavily shaded)

This appears to be primarily a donut shop, but I got a sandwich instead and liked it. I just tried this place for the first time, and the combination tofu and veggie ham Vietnamese sandwich is very tasty. The bánh mì tasted fresh and had a nice crust without being too chewy.

Solid falafel sandwich wrapped in lavash, prepared and delivered promptly even when the place is super-busy at lunch time. I've been there probably ten or at most fifteen times over the past decade, and the worker behind the counter recognizes me and remembers my order before I even open my mouth almost every time. As mentioned in other reviews, the spicy sauce is great. They also have a great selection of cookies and chocolate bars in case you want something sweet.

Not bad, and much closer than the more authentic taco trucks in downtown Richmond or Oakland.

Often busy with neighborhood kids, and it has a separate fenced section for toddlers.

Tasty, reliable, and they deliver. I recommend "Amazon" and "Veggie 2"

Food OK, but nothing special. Interesting selection of asian/burrito fusion dishes, though.
