I am excited to see the realization of Project Ara in the near future. The idea of a modular phone, being able to hot swap most parts on the fly means you can really customize your device...To suit the situation you are in. #ProjectAra #tech #news

This is proof of my failure as a person with a brain...Yes, I thought I was ordering a loveseat. However, I merely ordered something that I need for the future loveseat instead. I had a serious brain fail when I read the item description, as this was in the Loveseat search results I just assumed it was one hell of a deal. Damn, being dumb sucks so hard! #brain   #whathappenedtome
“So when ordering items on Amazon...It is important to read descriptions. This is not a loveseat. I failed. #fail”

So my day is has been pretty good. I have been shaking off the rust and playing The Witcher 2...I keep on failing to watch my back while hunting some nasty Nekkers, I keep dying as a result. However, despite that I am getting familiar with the controls again (I may need a new Xbox controller as this one isn't cutting it).

Also my new loveseat should be arriving today, this will give me a place to play with my Chromebook when I don't need my desktop. That crosses one of the things I have wanted to get off my list. I will upgrade all the basics that I need to shortly. #happy   #goodday

+Jordan Palmer There is a book that has been skipped over still if I remember rightly, as it was sporadically translated. Unless that is not the case now. I didn't mind the combat, it was a means to an end and I was quite good at it. Battles didn't last long enough to really overstay their welcome.

The main reason why I love the Witcher senses is because it immerses you in the character of Geralt being able to see how he sees the world...This is a major aspect of the game that if missing, would be less interesting. You still have to be close enough to an object of interest in order to make it visible, it isn't a god mode sort of mechanic. Just revealing clues, loot, and plants within a reasonable diameter around the PC. Though you missed the chest that was on the trail so it doesn't remove all mystery. You still have to focus on the visual highlights in order to find anything.

Also I like how you are explaining your choices on every dialogue option...I like hearing your thoughts on this.

Not all fish are automatically hostile to the player...The strange looking one with the sac on the end of it's tail and greenish spots is a defensive natured animal. It will only try to use it's toxic fluid as a means to protect itself. You can use it to kill fish for you to eat, you will never learn anything cool if you're terrified of the fauna.

Making more progress with unlocks in both Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Unepic, and the Witcher 2...I switched to the PS3 controller in hopes of getting more accurate input. I have to my relief, thus far. However, the Endrega Queen still kills me mostly because Yrden seems to wear off quickly. Hrm, I will keep trying. #gaming   #progress   #photo

Missing all those plants Marcus, when you need to make potions you won't be able too. Later on potions are required to succeed, this is just the introduction getting you used to how the Witcher gameplay works. I remember you played the second game, as you talked about it.

+Felipe Rodrigues Yep - the main thing you have to keep a good stock of is Alcohest (which also tends to be a common drop anyway) and/or the materials to make it once you learn the recipe. Slightly less needed are the other alcohol types and things like bombs. Nearly everything else you use on a regular basis is refilled by Alcohest when you meditate once you've made it that first time.

I feel like this is a solid move on Google's part to protect the user against those who would create malicious extensions to harvest data or worse from users. Perhaps it will cause more extension makers come to the Chrome Web Store, and become trustworthy.

Personally I would never install something from outside of the Chrome Web Store...It is too much of a risk to take.

#Google   #Chrome   #extensions   #news

Today we announced we're extending the restriction on non-web-store extensions to more Chrome channels.

http://blog.chromium.org/2015/05/continuing-to-protect-chrome-users-from.html

I've read a number of grouchy posts on e.g. Reddit claiming this is all about trying to control what extensions users use, in particular because the web store doesn't allow things like Youtube downloaders.

The sad truth is that malicious extensions mucking with Chrome are by far the biggest problem we deal with today.  A HUGE fraction of Chrome users are infected with such things (or worse), and it results in an enormous number of problems, many of which get reported to us as bugs and help center requests, many of which don't.  (It was amusing that on the same Reddit forum people were whining about this were multiple other top-level posts on the same page begging for help with Chrome-targeting malware.)

To some degree, fighting malware is an arms race, and we won't be able to perfectly win.  But our previous restrictions here were able, alone, to reduce the number of support requests we got for such issues by 75%.   That's enormous.  Think about the magnitude of the number that represents, when you consider that Chrome has hundreds of millions of users.

So no -- this has NOTHING to do with trying to prevent Youtube downloaders or whatever.  We've been forced to this by bad actors, and we're doing it because we think it's in the best interest of our users.  I'm sorry that there are some people inconvenienced by this.  But at least I want them to understand that our motives here are what we say they are; there's nothing ulterior going on.

A man who has geeky hobbies!
Introduction
I should use this section to introduce myself and lay down some guidelines. As you can see my name is Ben, my hobbies include:

1.Gaming: My rig is currently running Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS. My favorite games/genres include: RPGs, Action, Platformers, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Strategy, Survival and Roguelikes. I use emulators to run a lot of older games from: SNES, Sega Genesis, GBC, GBA, and PSX.

2. Writing: I casually write as a hobby mostly within the Fantasy Genre, with themes of Homoerotica, Adventure, Horror, and Coming of Age. You will likely never see any of my work because I think it sucks...It is just for fun.

3. Reading: I really love reading books and this is the types of books I read: Nonfiction (Relating to my interests like Science), Fantasy, Science Fiction, Murder Mysteries, Homoerotic Fanfiction, Original Homoerotica Fiction, Yaoi and Bara Manga, with typical Manga thrown in the mix.

4. Anime: I really enjoy anime and have a Crunchyroll Subscription so I can access my favorite Anime either on the go or at home. Some examples of my favorite anime: Psycho Pass, Ergo Proxy, Kill La Kill, Noein, Cowboy Bebop, The Slayers, Wolf's Rain, Texhnolyze.

My interests are: Linux, Technology, Android, Science, Biology, Delicious Food, Hot Dudes, Literature, Culture, Awesome Photos, Chrome OS, etc.

Guidelines-

1. I tend to have my circles nice and organized so that all the content I seek can be found in one handy spot. Keep in mind if you add me I will peruse your content and read your profile before deciding to add you. As I like to group people in appropriate circles. If your feed hasn't been updated in a year or your profile is blank I will likely pass on you. I am looking for active members to engage in jolly conversation, as well as people who have similar interests in the topics that I enjoy.

2. While I appreciate looking amazing pictures of Hot Dudes, Beautiful Scenery, Gaming Screenshots...Please don't spam these things for the amount of excessive notifications will likely cause me to unfollow you. Do however group these photos in appropriate albums so that the notifications are kept low but the content overflowing. An Example: Guys Who Have Butts I want to Touch Album, group all those cute butts in that.

3. I don't mind varying viewpoints as not everyone will feel the same way about a particular subject. However, don't be a toxic person who insults, belittles, and attacks because of a different view on a matter. I don't mind disagreement because it is okay to disagree with someone. Be rational but true to yourself. This is something that I am working on myself to be honest. I can be an angry person sometimes as some of my followers who know me, have gathered.

Well that is all and if you have read this, jolly good and have a wonderful day!
