She wanted to work in my shop, so I was letting her pick through my scraps. She grabbed a bunch pieces and proceeded to mark up some of the wood and cut it with a saw. When she got frustrated with the results, I asked her what she was making. She said she wanted to make a bookcase and showed me what she was doing.
Well it spiraled out of control from there, We picked out some nice wide maple for the shelves, cut it to size and then picked out some walnut for the rails, and that's as far as we got last night.
Today I cut all the walnut to size and drilled pocket holes for mounting the shelves. All that is left is for her to sand the wood and assemble the bookcase.
