Introduce Yourself  -

Hi folks,  I am a 20 veteran of LivePA that picked up some steam again last couple years when I built a studio in Vancouver and started sharing some of my ideas and collaborations working with vocalists.  I am working on an electronica release w/ 8 new tracks and a more IDM EP with roots in vocal house and deep melodic techno remixes.  I am hoping that both will be released this summer.

Open to collaborations, remixes, giving thoughtful feedback, etc...
"My favourite music is music I have never heard before, the first time I hear it. That said, I often take the opportunity to re-listen to that very same music even though the shock and awe may begin to fade." ~ @bitpakkit Sometimes fierce, sometimes funny, always thoughtful and hopefully entertaining, BitPakkit plays electronica 'for reals'. That is to say without a play button, void of $50 loop collections, and instead armed only with some bona ...

Thanks for listening and the feedback.  Appreciated!  I really should film more of these mini performances.  New years resolution perhaps?  :)

Brilliantly visual and natural +Leap Motion controller jam from Uwe G Hoenig using GECO with +Native Instruments Reaktor and his own GRIP Grain Synth.

Uwe had three objectives for this setup.
- No input (hand movement), no sound. Just like an instrument.
- No need to look at the computer.
- Audience should somehow see what they hear or hear what they see.

That happened.  I was in the process of building scenes on the +AlphaSphere for his GRIP Grain Synth when I came across this fascinating  #rabbithole

Leap Motion gesture control jam (Geco, Reaktor, Live)

Awesome.  Great job Keen Collard, Sage Grosbein-Ainslie, Luke Sutton, Daniel Wesser, Tristan Mendoza, Skya Raven, Mika Hjorngaard-Ferentzy, Michael Mitrovic and José Ramón Baldizon.  Love the way it pulls you in and piques our sense of danger and mystery before it unravels into a very real sense of an appropriate resistance.

Hey Jason, I have had mine for a few weeks now and I keep coming back to this work.  There's something about Tank Drum or hammered percussion sounds that make this very intuitive to play.  Im using the same approach as well now...some arps + perc loops + the middle up played as an instrument and a few pads for fx triggers etc driving multi racks in Kontakt which let me change 'scenes' really quickly...its a ton of prep/programming but its so worth it. Thanks so much for sharing this, and for the pure inspiration!!!  I will post something soon once I get closer to the bar you set ;-)
