Went up to Minnesota for a friend's wedding and then headed out west on vacation. The Element was once again a great road trip companion! Here's everywhere I visited:

Minnehaha Falls, Minnesota
Willow River State Park, Wisconsin
Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Dakota
Custer National Forest, Montana
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
Bighorn National Forest, Wyoming
Devil's Tower National Monument, Wyoming
Jewel Cave National Monument, South Dakota
Wind Cave National Park, South Dakota
Mount Rushmore, South Dakota
Badlands National Park, South Dakota

In total I drove 3,875 miles!
That puts the Element up over 131k miles now.

My big cooler, camping gear, food, and 4 gallons of water fit perfectly in the back. So easy to drop the tailgate and get to what I needed!

Yet another reason I'm glad I went with the Element 11 years ago!

After 10 1/2 years Ellie the Element just reached 222,222 miles! I got her at only 33 miles.

I have lots of road trips planned for the Element in 2016 too!

One of my best purchases I've made!

S5 with Ceramic Pro! I also had the rims painted with a more metallic version of Gun Metal to darken them up a bit.

No matter how much polishing and waxing I've done the S5 has never glowed as much as it does now with Ceramic Pro! And since Ceramic Pro is permanent and extremely hydrophobic most dirt doesn't cling and the coating doesn't fade like wax does.

So far I am extremely happy with it!

+Sven Thiess I've only had it for a week and a half.

It's not as hydroponic as I was expecting but it is still very hydrophobic (More than wax). The car also still gets dirty and doesn't fully come clean with just a pressure washer.

But cleaning it by hand is way easier now and only takes a few minutes for a quick once over.

But once its clean it glows better than any wax I ever put on it! That part alone is worth the price. I never have to wax again and the car looks detailed after a quick hand wash.

I just think the hype around it made it sound like nothing would stick to the car but in reality it can still get dirty. A 3-4 hour detail job just got cut down to about 30 minutes so I think its worth it.

It's almost eerie watching a major league game with no fans!

Has anyone successfully gotten their Nexus 6 screen replaced for free from Google or Motorola?

I have seen a few people post online that Google does a one time screen replacement by sending out a refurbished phone. Google however didn't seem to know anything about that and said they won't replace it.

+Ezekiel Madrigal I called moto as well and they said Verizon devices are covered so I guess they have a contract with Verizon.

I wish this shop was good as I live right down the road from them but it is one of the worst in town. The handful of times I have been in there, I'd say its been 50/50 whether I am greeted or not. Let alone asked if I need any help. The main reason I stay away now is because of the condescending attitude of the employees. They are all on a power trip. (At least the few I have dealt with) I know a fair amount about guns but there is a lot I don't know as well. The employees aren't very helpful or kind if there is something you don't know. Prices are high as well. FFL services are $50. Seems like most shops are $25-30. The range is nice but I can't bring myself to support their business. I drive a couple minutes further across 141 to Defensor Tactical. Cool guys in there. Real laid back. As far as range shooting; I shoot out at Jay Henge's spring through fall and a new indoor range just got approved to be built behind the new Wendy's in Ballwin. I'm hoping those employees will have better attitudes towards their customers so I can make that my winter shooting range. Either the good reviews on here are customers who got a rare top notch experience or its friends and family trying to bump up the rating. Sorry On Target. I hate to be against a local business but your customer experience can't be recommended.
