Racism and Bigotry is Alive and well. I don't even know this guy. Yet he feels the need to call me a Nigger. 50 years after the Selma and the World is still the same in many ways. I'm sure you've heard the term “You can change a Picture but the Frame remains the Same."
Despite growing in the Deep South, I am not burdened which such hatred for those of different skin colors, sexual orientation, or any other hatred you could think of. You see, racism is a dying trait. For those of you born in the 80s, & 90s, you can attest to this notion. To put it quite simply, No One gives a Shit
about who you hate and why, for those of you that do care, realize that your traits will die along with you. You can teach hatred all you want to your children, grandchildren, niece's & nephews, but eventually it'll die off along with you.
Like everyone from the South, there's always been "stories" and of course there were members of my family who hated other races due too the "Past."
I remember close family members telling me to hate other's but could never give me a good reason to do so. Once I grew up I realized that they're good and bad people regardless of who you are or where you're from. That's the sole reason why I love +Google+ so much, it's because I have friends and others alike who I share a common interests with, who I'd never know on another social platform. Whether it's; sports, technology, current events, or what ever, they're in my Circles and I'm in there's, And to Me That's All that matters.
Regardless of who you are, you're either a good person or not. I'll never judge others based on what the human eye can see, I'm all about actions. That is what I'll teach my son. Love people for who they are not what you think they are or could be. God Speed
