They punished you a lot worse in previous games for dying, the checkpoint doesn't look too bad

+Ben Stevenson if memory serves, a lot of the older ones had a means to quicksave without the need of a save point...i think that was a thing up until either 5 or 6.

it was basically just like this. you would go back to your self given checkpoint, but if you turned the game off the auto save would be gone, as it wasnt a real save.

but yeah, back in the old days it was back to the new---load---settings menu lol. this one does give more leeway in that you get your choice right after death....granted, the wait time to get back to the title screen was often super short, so not very much of an annoyance imo....then again with our dealing with genesis/nes or snes and beyond there was a lot worse stuff to get used to to the point we're probably not as easily bugged by bieng sent way back as people tend to be now lol.

That's me personally though. i was just surprised he seemed even remotely put off by having to walk back down to meet the behomoth and then re-get his attention lol. at least it has skippable scenes and doesnt force him to travel like another half of the dungeon you just went through to get back lol

I was wondering what you all thought of 3D final fantasy IV compared to the older 2D look (in this case, the complete edition). I appreciate the effort put into the 3D version but dungeons feel like normal rooms in a castle in the 3D version, a lot of the atmosphere has been lost

I wonder wondering if someone could tell me why it is 'es' and not 'das'? Thank you

+Antonia Mai so German speakers generally use das? I thought Es would have been right for the reasons above but it's a tough one

DW (English): German government under fire over spying accusations. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIw19avxho
Following revelations that Germany's intelligence agency spies on Turkey and "accidentally" intercepted Hillary Clinton's and John Kerry's phone calls, pressure is growing on the German government to clarify its stance.

How can they be under fire if they are just doing what everyone else is doing?

This ties in with my other post, it is the same dungeon but is the 3D version, I think it lacks the grimy underworld feel (I can't upload photo comments so apologies for the new post)

Finally! The end to the Labyrinth! That was one of the most annoying dungeons I've done (dragon's den is also up there)

I'd love to get a polished openbox distro based on Ubuntu repositories! For now peppermint does the job fine.

I tried the no icons in my taskbar phase but I found it lowered productivity as I had to keep reading all the tab names instead of only the ones with the icon I was looking for.

I am not so sure they got it right, imposing dress codes it's a very harsh interference with freedom. In the end that just fixed what politics got wrong in the first place which was letting in these people.
