After a few years of being a patient of Green Apple, I had to move on. My initial experience with the practice was positive. As time went on, that changed. When I called one one knew me by name. I was put on hold for long periods of time. I was not able to get in as quickly as I used to. My dentist was harder to get a hold of on the days that worked for me. After many procedures, I was frustrated with staff turnover and lack of professionalism I encountered. My last experience with this office involved a dentist I'd never met attempting to start an exam without introducing himself first. I felt like more of a number than a valued patient. Communication in scheduling was less than ideal. I asked for a cleaning on my last visit and was scheduled for an appointment only to find that it wasn't properly scheduled. The spa atmosphere is appealing but loses its impact in the absence of strong communication skills and individual customer service. At least my story has a happy ending. I'm currently a patient at a great practice in Clackamas. It's worth the drive to be treated like an individual. They listen to my concerns and even took the time today to make sure the bite on the two crowns I received from Green Apple fit properly finally. I didn't have to sit through a long speech about how "they will just feel different" and "you'll get used to them over time". I didn't walk away feeling shame about my dental hygiene or with a huge and expensive list of recommendations for upcoming work. I just smiled a now comfortable smile and wondered why no one ever took the time to make sure my crowns fit properly before.
