On Saturday, September 20, 2014, I attended an amazing community cider pressing thanks to my friend +Joshua Buster. Over the course of 7-12 hours, the group pressed over 300 gallons of cider and still didn't finish. These are a few of the pictures I took.
It's always nice to see mainstream publications cover fascinating scientific discoveries and theories well. Of course, the title is still a bit sensationalist for microscopic subatomic particles, but I'm excited!

I wonder what all these years working with kids has done to me. Other studies on oxytocin have point out its connection to physical touch and happiness, and how much higher it is in mothers. As a ski instructor, camp counselor and educator, I'm sure I get a higher dose working with kids than those who don't. After all, children are far more prone to climbing on people, hugging them, and getting up close (especially since the young ones have difficult focusing at a distance) than adults are.
It's too bad that the camera goggles don't do justice to the steepness. This is a small sampling of the glory that is Crested Butte as seen at the Extreme Mountain Terrain clinic I attended last week.
