I've earned the Onyx Recharger medal in #Ingress. Woo-hoo! Anyone want some WDW keys?

Man, I was sure you were gonna say she dumped you two months later because you took out your phone when you weren't supposed to, twice. (Were you onstage?)

How on earth does Google Contacts not recognize an ISO 8601 date in YYYY-MM-DD format? +Jason Persampieri, I swear I looked for a feedback link but I didn't see one. Could you possibly point someone who works on Contacts to this, please?

That's pretty good, really, to have a bug filed and acknowledged by the owner that quickly.

Responding to a Glyph pattern translated as SHAPERS MIND COMPLEX HARMONY, a spokesperson for the Shapers today clarified that they do not, in fact, mind complex harmony at all. Indeed, they quite enjoy the Beach Boys, XTC, David Rael, and the microtonal compositions of Easley Blackwood.

The glyphs aren't verbose enough. But I also don't want to have to enter 10 glyph sequences :D Also many "words" are missing. And don't even start with the very ambiguous ones like NOT and INSIDE are the same.

North America  -

The portal currently known as "America" (https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=27.950639,-82.462949&z=18) is properly titled "America, America" (see attached documentation).

I submitted a portal name change, which was rejected. I guess you can call it the wrong name if you want to, but folks, the name of this sculpture *IS* "America, America". Sticklers would also accept it without the comma because the plaque nearby omits the comma.
Description: This modernist, red, steel artwork, nestled inside the curve of an outdoor staircase (the entrance to the walkway connecting the John F. Germany Central Library to the Tampa Performing Arts Center) is composed of a series of planes. Two vertical forms, each composed of a rectangle ...

Thanks for providing this new intel. We have taken another look, made adjustments, and the Portal title is now correct. Happy Hacking!

It's official. We start our jobs in early March. We'll be in Monroe Saturday afternoon through lunch Monday to find a house, or apartment, to rent. Any advice is welcome. There's a house in the Garden District that we know we want to check out.

Froggy friends, can someone please add me to appropriate hangouts? If you want to verify me in person, it'll be my pleasure. We're going back to Tampa for a few weeks. Anyone who wants to help us unpack will be rewarded with food and drinks.

Hi y'all. There's a chance I might be moving to Monroe. Would anyone care to recommend an apartment complex on the #3 bus line? Couch portals welcome but I can't afford to live at a chiropractic day spa.

That looks like a sub section of what I need to sort. What's sorted takes up most of a wall. I need to get the lego room cleaned to show you guys how extensive it is.

There are 14 different fitness stations on a trail at my university. Is it worth submitting each station separately? Should I namespace them, like "USF FitTrail 01: Isometric Squat/Achilles Stretch", "USF FitTrail 02: Hip Rotation", etc.?
Campus Recreation's Fitness Trail is located just behind the Sycamore fields on the corner of USF Holly Dr. and USF Sycamore Dr. The trail spans over 1.25 miles under a canopy of Florida trees. The trail includes 14 different stations that can be integrated into your walk/run or other outdoor ...

Organizing information to make it useful to people. You say data warehousing, I say librarianship. You say potato, I say "could I have yuca con mojo criollo instead?".
Introduction
I believe in humanity: our indwelling capacity for good, our insatiable desire to make ourselves known to one another, our coruscating passion for knowledge, our ability to handle the truth, our capacity for learning from really dumb mistakes, and our capacity for making them.

I believe in humor as the universal solvent of ignorance, grief, and fear.

I believe in public libraries.

I believe in using intellectual property rights to establish a sustaining wellspring for the creative endeavors of others; I believe in the Creative Commons license.

I believe in putting final punctuation outside the quotes unless it was present in the original.

I believe in the Oxford comma.

I don't believe in rigid gender lines, violence as national economic policy, or any particular religion (though I'm congenial to many).

Lighthouse Express is just amazing. Even on a gray, misty day, the guys here had so much energy and enthusiasm. I find it hard to muster much enthusiasm for more interesting tasks on Monday morning, let alone detailing a car, but somehow I get the feeling that making a customer happy is literally the most important thing on earth for these folks. I have to disclose that they piled on a few extra upgrades after we bought a car wash, but I wish I lived closer so that we could come back and pay full price next time.

Datz loves to play with food. It's not as crazy as the molecular gastronomists would like, but their winter vegan stew over quinoa-cranberry pilaf was amazing and they don't let their menu get stale. They use technology adeptly (and even have a social media consulting subsidiary, Datz Chat) and unintrusively. You can text them to check the wait list or get onto it. It's great to have a restaurant in Tampa that really understands both food and technology so well.

I've moved away from Atlanta, and one of the things I miss most about my former city is the multiplying energy Brian brings to his shop. I've seen him bend over backwards to make sure his customers are happy and not just satisfied. Even when he's not at the shop (and I'd say he's there roughly 60 hours a week), the place has been immaculate. I can't wait to visit Atlanta so I can come back to Yogurberry!

I've been coming to Olin Mott's garage since the 1990s, long enough for the employees to tell me several times that my car is getting too expensive to repair and it would be in my best interest to sell it. And on one occasion they've even said "There's nothing wrong with the darn thing. Bring it back when there's something to fix. No charge." Human beings don't get more honest than that, to say nothing of the usual reputation of a mechanic. Mr. Mott would accept nothing less, and that's why I'm happy to come here even if the news is sometimes painful. I know that it's the honest truth, every time.

Call ahead to be sure there's farm-grown produce available (and not just stuff trucked in from nearby partners), and be ready to hike in from the nearest parking spot when there is, because Georgians love this genuine farmer's market for its health-giving vegetables. Oh, and its deep-fried fruit pies and homemade peach ice cream. But mostly the health-giving vegetables. Especially if deep-fried fruit pies are a vegetable. They are, right?
