Impressive!

One of the most impressive things I've seen in a long time. The fun part starts at 2:45.

This camera shoots 360 degree video which you can then play back on your Android device (in 6K resolution, apparently) and pan around anywhere you want, while it's playing.

Plus it responds to device sensors, kind of like the compass mode on Photospheres.

In fact, this is the video equivalent of Photospheres, except on crack. And also on LSD and speed.

Some true innovation here.

I have really enjoyed using Ting. Their service has saved me several dollars. Looking forward to what they offer next!

Superuser  -

Yesterday I needed to flash the stock images back to my Nexus 5. The device was flashed with the flash.bat file that comes with the factory images. The images used were the newest ones from here https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images#hammerheadkot49h
Like always I let the device boot the first time without changing anything, up until you start entering your info. To make sure everything flashed correctly before I install the custom recovery and start flashing SU. Everything booted so I reboot to fastboot flashed CWM 6.0.4.5. Then booted to recovery from the bootloader and flashed the superuser.zip from
http://download.clockworkmod.com/superuser/superuser.zip
I rebooted from recovery but when I went to use any app that requested root nothing happened. I had to end up installing SuperSU for now. Any suggestions or something I may have missed.

Ok I had some extra time today to really look at why Superuser was not working when I flashed it from recovery. I discovered that the install-recovery.sh was not being copied into the /system/etc/ directory. The binary and the superuser.apk were copied into the /system/xbin/ and /system/app/. There was a .installed_su_daemon file in /system/etc/ but no /system/etc/.has)su_daemon/. To fix the problem and get superuser working on my stock Nexus 5. I did the following.

1. booted into recovery (CWM 6045)
2. in mounts and storage I mounted system
3. I downloaded the superuser.zip from https://www.google.com/url?q=http://download.clockworkmod.com/superuser/superuser.zip&sa=D&usg=AFQjCNGkkEFNNdbyuzVedlu9e82Du1g2BA
4. I extracted the install-recovery.sh from the zip and ran "adb push install-recovery.sh /sdcard/0/"
5. ran cd /system/etc/
6. ran cp /sdcard/0/install-recovery.sh /system/etc/
7. ran chmod 755 install-recovery.sh
8. ran ls -asl in /system/etc/ to make sure that the install-recovery.sh was there and had the correct permissions.

Beta testing  -

+Christian Göllner they only thing I have found with the beta so far is that the widget for the Battery does not have the transparent back ground like your other widgets. Also my only suggestion would be name all the widgets System Monitor<Whatever>. That way all of the system monitor widgrts are together and not spread out. It makes your apps widgets easier to find.

Introduction
To the body and mind which have been cramped by noxious work or company, nature is medicinal and restores their tone. The tradesman, the attorney comes out of the din and craft of the street, and sees the sky and the woods, and is a man again. In their eternal calm, he finds himself. The health of the eye seems to demand a horizon. We are never tired, so long as we can see far enough.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson
