Wow, has to be the best ad I've seen all year. Any other ads worth sharing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wqOApBLPio

Not bad. Definitely one of the better ones this year.

I thought this was an interesting polling / referendum post. In this case, when you make 'I don't know' much more prominent, the question becomes a lot closer. It's something for candidates to think about when they are trying to ID votes... Do you prominently offer undecided or force them to make a choice?

Is there any way to stop the sharing notifications that come up every time I move a file from one folder to another?

Thought this was an interesting example of how polls aren't accurate for third parties and independent candidates. While Jill Stein may be tie with Harambe and losing to Deez Nuts, she surely has much better ballot access than a dead gorilla and get more votes than he does. http://www.rawstory.com/2016/08/green-partys-jill-stein-tied-with-dead-gorilla-harambe-and-losing-to-deez-nuts-in-texas-poll/

Yesterday, SourceFed alleged that Google manipulated autosuggest results to benefit Hillary Clinton. I just found out that they were wrong... http://info.noboundsdigital.com/blog/google-do-not-manipulate-hillary-clinton-results

Curious if anyone here was going for a delegate spot to the respective conventions. Did you hear back good / bad news?

I think that HILLARY be disqualified to run for president cause she can't be trusted with e-mailing tops secrets materials.

With the forthcoming presidential election, I thought it is a good time to reminder community members, especially the new ones, that this group is about the art and science of campaigning for political office. It's not about the political race, poll results, gaffes and gotchas, etc. The exception is if you are using it as a case study to explain something about campaigning. For example, you were involved in turning a gaffe into a local media firestorm, linked to an article about the gaffe, and then explained how you did it.

I haven't tried every roaster in Central PA, but of those I've tried, this is the best.

I needed sign wires ASAP and Barton Signs had what I needed. I've met Bud several times at Chamber events and elsewhere and he does a lot of printing for other local businesses. I've only heard positive things.

God I love this place, specifically, upstairs. Now that I'm in my 30s, cough cough, going to standing room only shows can get a little old. WCL upstairs is a great place to get a little something to eat, drink, and watch live music all at the same time. But don't get me wrong, the crowd and vibe are young and energetic.

It seems that every time I go to Kmart for something specific they don't have it. Last trip, they didn't even have the vacuum filter to the vacuum that I bought at that very store. 6/14/15 Update Lack of common products is still a problem as is quality products. The pharmacy has been a disaster for the last year after a good pharmacist left. It looks like there is a new pharmacist who is doing a decent job and things have improved. The pharmacy seriously needs a 2nd register. I would also avoid purchasing Kmart products online if possible. I recently purchased a dehumidifier because of a coupon and to use up some points and it took two weeks to be delivered.

I had used Elance happily for several years. I have begrudgingly used Upwork since they closed oDesk and Elance merging them into Upwork. The fees continue to increase. On Elance they were 8.5% of the hourly rate / one time fee for services and they are 10% on Upwork. There was a recent email that there will now be another fee on top of that. Upwork's system looks pretty much it isn't nearly as functional as Elance was. There are different accounts for freelancers, agencies, and consultants. You constantly need to pop in and out of each if you use all of Upwork's features. Today, they cancelled one of my jobs. I invest a lot of time in finding the right freelancers to invite and writing a quality job description, and took a lot of time to correct. The worst part is the they didn't give me an opportunity to come back into compliance with the TOS before cancelling the job. Working with Upwork is frustrating. It's amazing to me that other services haven't been able to amass as large of a talent pool as Upwork has. If it wasn't for that, I would have been gone ages ago.

This is my go to coffee shop in Harrisburg. > Atmosphere is great. I'm Protestant, not Orthodox, but I love the Orthodox music and aesthetic of the coffee shop. > Good coffee. The only negative I've heard about Agia Sophia is that it's not Little Amps. Little Amps has very good coffee, but it's very, very strong. I don't mind grabbing a cup from them in the morning but for the afternoon pick me up, I much prefer Agia Sophia. > Government and student discount. Government employees get 15% off on Mondays and students always get 10% off. > Proceeds benefit local charities. The charity varies from month to month.

BCS Appliance staff didn't communicate well with me. My dehumidifier built in pump failed, and I took it in for repair. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard from them. I turned out that they had trouble getting the part. That's fine, but I would have appreciated a call not having to call them. I took the dehumidifier home and asked them to keep me up to date on the part order. I had to follow up several times and the final time they said that they had actually called me a couple of weeks prior though I have no indication of it on my phone. My Friedrich dehumidifier was fixed on 12/13/2014 and as of the middle of April, 2015 the pump starting failing again. I called after hours, but expected a call the next day. Towards the close of business on Monday, today, I called them. The person who answered the phone was not familiar with my message. Though the part they installed failed within four months, my concern isn't with their workmanship. It could have been top notch for all I know and the part was bad. What I am concerned about is their poor communication and response time. When you work with a local company, you may pay a little more, but you expect better service than what the big box stores provide. Unfortunately, I would rate both experiences that I've had with BCS Appliance lower than what you would find from Lowes or Home Depot.
