Wondering if anyone thinks this line of attack will work... I thought to myself, "what politician doesn't have a trust deficit?" With that in mind, while this may ring true to voters, I thought that this wouldn't have an appreciable impact on who would vote for her or not.
Many admire her leadership qualities, but there are doubts about whether she is honest enough to be president.

I agree -- I wouldn't expect this to have a significant impact.

Friendly reminder about this community:

This Political Campaigns community centers on the art and science of campaigns and elections. It's a forum to ask questions, share case studies and resources, talk strategy and tactics.  It's not a forum for debating issues or the merits of one candidate over another. There are plenty of communities on Google+ to talk issues or the political horse race, but this community isn't one of them.  Posts with explicit commercial intent will be removed unless you are an active and constructive member of the community.  We really appreciate your contributions to this group, and hope that you get a lot of value out of it.

Anyone know how to fix quality problems on voice calls on the receiving end? I did see a remedy in the help forum to turn off Google Now but that doesn't work. I use Hangouts on Chrome app, in Gmail, on Android Hangouts dialer and get complains on all.

Successful ads are all about connecting with voters, but there is more than one way to do that, as a look at two campaigns makes clear.

I live in a tiny village called Unityville up in Lycoming County. North of Bloomsburg and halfway between Williamsport and Wilkes-Barre. As I said, rural.

I was born and raised in Baltimore and lived in downtown Washington DC during the late 60's and early 70's. If that doesn't get you interested in politics I don't know what will. I used to love going to the Senate and watch the debates.

Per +David Bernstein comment, I was wondering if you have thoughts on pulling votes back into major party candidates from independents?! Usually, major party candidates tell voters they are throwing their vote away or actually hurting their cause by voting for a potential spoiler. Are there other arguments that are more compelling for major parties to use?

That's interesting. I hadn't given that perspective too much thought.

Something to keep an eye out for in the future
Google is currently testing a new feature that will allow users searching for medical-related information to connect directly with doctors via its Google Helpouts project.

Any thoughts on mass negative reviews from one customer? I'm working with a chiropractor who had a patient who is on a rampage leaving the exact same negative review on a number of review sites. Is there some sort of TOS issue for some of those directories? Might there be an IP issue supposing that some directories claim intellectual property rights to the content submitted? Thanks for your help.

How can you increase AdWords lead quality for B2B offering that consumers are also searching for? I'd be interested in any insights my fellow AdWords certified professionals may have :) Thanks.

That is always a challenge, but a little creativity can go a long way.  What product/service are you trying to show other businesses that consumers also search for?  A common recommendation I have is to use your keywords with a modifier such as +Industrial keyword +commercial keyword.

Our big wins were Tom Wolf in Pennsylvania and a big conservation ballot measure down in Florida that needed 60% to pass and wound up getting 75%.

Even though he didn't win I'm really proud of what Paul Davis did in Kansas and was happy to help him in that fight. We made a conservative incumbent in Kansas work for it.

Thoughts on taking illegally placed signs? I was quoted by the AP though most of my thoughts weren't added.... Oh well. http://hosted2.ap.org/AKKEN/f7ded15e4d4846268a17b79c1c4b7cb8/Article_2014-10-24-US--Midterm%20Elections-Sign%20Ninjas/id-548baf1251d44d158e62b914a8b115c3
This Oct. 21, 2014 photo shows political campaign signs near a state highway in Westerville, Ohio. Signs touting local and statewide candidates are in full bloom along highways, street corners and public rights of way. Enter the Columbus Sign Ninjas, a group that sprang up to take down campaign ...

Busy time of year! But wanted to share this video for fun for a state Rep candidate in Erie... Which, I think, has actual campaign lessons from it.

1. Even state and local campaigns can't control the message (depending upon how unofficial this is)
2. In state politico circles, this has gotten some play. I imagine that it is well received among the electorate as well... Try not to take yourself too seriously!
3. Others?

BCS Appliance staff didn't communicate well with me. My dehumidifier built in pump failed, and I took it in for repair. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard from them. I turned out that they had trouble getting the part. That's fine, but I would have appreciated a call not having to call them. I took the dehumidifier home and asked them to keep me up to date on the part order. I had to follow up several times and the final time they said that they had actually called me a couple of weeks prior though I have no indication of it on my phone. My Friedrich dehumidifier was fixed on 12/13/2014 and as of the middle of April, 2015 the pump starting failing again. I called after hours, but expected a call the next day. Towards the close of business on Monday, today, I called them. The person who answered the phone was not familiar with my message. Though the part they installed failed within four months, my concern isn't with their workmanship. It could have been top notch for all I know and the part was bad. What I am concerned about is their poor communication and response time. When you work with a local company, you may pay a little more, but you expect better service than what the big box stores provide. Unfortunately, I would rate both experiences that I've had with BCS Appliance lower than what you would find from Lowes or Home Depot.

This is a very busy office. The staff are working full tilt; despite their workload, they were pleasant. My wait time was 13 minutes. I was originally seen by a PA, Donna, who I was pretty happy with. We discussed my sleep study results and potential options moving forward. She listened to my concerns with certain types of interventions and we discussed other options that I would be more comfortable with. I spent 15 to 20 minutes with her. Then, I saw the doctor. Dr. Maria Michalek was not helpful. She spent 3 to 5 minutes with me including showing me the door. She was very quick to recommend uvula extraction, push me off on an ENT, and schedule a follow up with her. This process might be an excellent way for the Neurology Center to maximize insurance reimbursements, but it's not good patient care! If you're interested in more detail about my interaction with Dr. Michalek: 1. She recommended uvula extraction to reduce my snoring. 2. When I asked if there was a medical reason for her recommendation not just snoring, she then said that it would reduce the number of times that I wake up at night (the primary finding from the study was that I wake up frequently) 3. She then proceeded to explain that while I don't have apnea if I were to gain ten pounds that I might. Okay, so I won't become overweight then! 4. She also quibbled with the definition of apnea suggesting that just because I didn't meet the definition of not breathing for 10 seconds doesn't mean that I don't have some level of apnea or wouldn't get it in the future because of my enlarged, bifurcated uvula. My baseline oxygen saturation was 98% with a minimum of 94% for crying out loud! 5. She didn't bother to ask or listen whether I am averse to pharmaceutical or surgical interventions, which I am as an initial treatment.

I wish there was a way to rate Rooster Street Provisions better than excellent, because they are exceptional, superb, and any other word that you can think of that puts them in a class of their own. Wonderful food and wonderful people!

The faux Italian look and feel is pretty darn faux. They put paper over top of their table linens too. The service was okay, but especially since I ate at a slow time, I had hoped for a little more individualized attention. Considering the decor and service was less than spectacular, I was happily surprised by the food with the exception of the bread. My dinner and dessert were very good.

My wife and I have been unsatisfied with the doctors that we have tried. I took the internet and researched nearly every medical office that we could in Lancaster and Dauphin counties. This is what we were looking for: + Excellent customer service + Use of modern technology + Male and female practitioners + Focus on wellness and nutrition + Openness to integrative medicine On paper, Aspire was the only practice that ticked all of those boxes. We weren't sold, however, since we haven't been happy with our past experiences with doctors, but any doubts that we might have had were blown away after our initial visit. I was incredibly impressed with the level of care that we received, that they were prompt, took a significant amount of time with us, wanted to know what our health goals were, and were thoughtful in their approach. I'm so happy that my wife and I have found a medical practice that we feel comfortable with. There is much wrong with medicine today and Aspire is a breath of fresh air amongst all of the problems.

Really good sirloin. I was impressed by the waitress though the non-interested host knocked this establishment down a notch.

My favorite chain restaurant, perhaps my favorite restaurant period. Maggiano's is an experience. No detail was missed in the look and feel of the restaurant: from the restaurant to the restroom. I've been there many times and the food preparation and recipes are perfect every time. The service, as you might imagine, varies depending upon the individual wait staff but it's always very good to excellent. What impresses me most about the service, however, is the host or hostess. Maggiano's really makes you feel welcome as you're seated.
