On the edge of picking a Sonos up (probably a PLAY:1 to start), but one concern I have is performance with a large music collection. I have about 1,100 albums (so very roughly 11,000 tracks) how well does Sonos perform with a library of this size? Other music streaming systems I have tried don't perform well with large libraries . Would there be any performance difference between a PLAY:1 and a CONNECT unit?
THANKS!

I prefer to use the GPM app within Sonos instead of GPM directly to the speakers. GPM standalone app as you said loses connection frequently for me. Hopefully it will improve because the volume control is so much easier plus the lock screen controls

A Reaper Bones grave robber given to me by a friend, for my WFRP character. This is my first ever attempt at object-source-lighting, with me trying to show the glowing light coming off his lantern cast onto his face and body. Not sure I’ve really pulled it off that well, and god it was a lot of faff. I also wasn’t keen on the skulls on the lamp, as they seemed a bit OTT. Still I think I’m happy with the result.

Long time user here, I'm now finding Yatse super slow to start playing a new track. I mean SUPER slow, 60-80 seconds or more before it responds. Once it's playing an album, skipping tracks on that album is quick, it seems to be an issue queuing up the tracks on first play of an album. The delay is so massive that you will have almost forgotten you pressed it, then suddenly it changes Sorry but this seems a huge regression, and makes the app unusable. Any ideas?

Without more detailed logs (needs to activate json logs in Xbmc logs) hard to tell the difference beetween Yatse and Music Pump.

But what is sure is that Yatse does send one batch command instantly then all the slowness in on Xbmc side :(

Orx Ripper suits from Deadzone
My god these guys took me a lifetime. I practically lost the will to live. I'm happy with the end result and the paint job, but I don't like the models. They poses are goofy and have waaaaay too much fiddly detail which doesn't even look good. Detail for the sake of it, the guns are a prime example of this. Anyhow nearly done with the faction, so maybe one day the game will even hit the table!

Been languishing over my first ripper suit, you've hit the nail on the head. I am even avoiding doing much with a lot of the detail but have lost some desire.

I will say you should try playing the game, it is absolutely fantastic and may just spark that motivation for you again.

Blown away by the quality of the components in Xia. One of the best kickstarters that I have backed.

Finally complete! My Deadzone Orx Marauders. These took way, way, WAY longer than they should have done, for a host of reasons. No matter, they are done and I'm happy with the overall result. Hope to get the game to the table soon!
