Would anyone be upset if we completely cut Carr? I get the dead money arguement but he hasn't been reliable. In my mind if he won't play for cheap, move on.
CRAIG ROSSIGRAFTON, MAIt seems like Dez isn't getting a long term contract because of off-field concerns, wouldn't bringing in Greg Hardy with his past cause even more friction between Dez and Cowboys? Are you afraid of losing team chemistry with all this happening and letting Murray leave?

If we had really asked him to seriously take a pay cut, we should follow through with our threat and not lose a game of chicken.

But my feeling is that we'll essentially be then putting our hopes on a rookie, Mo, or Patmon developing into an average corner that can play on the outside. It could happen, but we'll have been making the move essentially because of the principle of the matter, not really any monetary efficiency.

If you're interested in quality custom calls I've recently landed a pro staff position for Toxic Calls. They make top of the line calls for much more affordable prices than the competition. Here's some pictures of their turkey lineup, they also make duck, goose, predator calls, and bow fishing gear.

I'm just going to go ahead and say this now. Not only do I not believe that the Cowboys are interested in Melvin Gordon, but I'll be at least somewhat disappointed if they draft him in the first round.

Like some of the critical scouts, I don't see him as a complete back. I don't think he's quite worth the first round pick. Admittedly, it's not far off because we pick so late but we have serious defensive needs and should have a solid choice of contributors to choose from at 27 if that's where we stay. Aside from these points, Gordon has taken a huge amount of touches in his college career, and many GM's downgrade backs who carried as much as he did in college. I think going with one of the several good defensive backs, a defensive tackle, possibly a linebacker, or even a Offensive Guard or Tackle make the most sense in round 1. Unless Gurley falls, he's a once in a decade kind of player.

I don't think we'll take Gordon UNLESS the leadership senses a need for young long term RB talent. If that's the case though I think I'd use that pick on a QB for the future.

Ok Here's the first revision of my annual draft board for the Cowboys. I essentially pretend that I'm running the entire organization when I do this and grade players in order and separate them by round. This is the first 2 rounds, and there's bound to be some tweaks to the board before the draft which is almost a month away still. Let me know what you think!

Most of the guys in the second group have red flags of some sort that keep them out of the first group. To me, guys drafted in the first round should be day one starters with pro bowl potential. That's easier said than done. I realize I'm being pretty critical of these guys.

This is crucial information to anyone who enjoys nature, whether you hunt or not. Some people (or groups) are not who they pretend to be.

Unfortunately this is not an April Fools joke. The Humane Society of the United States received $190 million in donations last year. In their ads they claim to help sheltered animals but donate less than 1% of their budget to local shelters. That's not a typo. The majority of funds goes to lawyers and lobbyist as they try to ban hunting across the US.

If you desire to protect hunting please do not support the Humane Society of the United States. And please share this with your friends. Many think they are helping strays but they are actually hurting our ability to hunt.

Stay up to date on these issues by following and supporting the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance. USSA continues to be the leading organization fighting coast to coast against any legislation or action that threatens our outdoor heritage, while at the same time, proactively advancing legislation that allows more opportunities for sportsmen. http://www.ussportsmen.org/

Not only do I like Bennett because of his level of talent and fit in our scheme, but he's a very intelligent and well taught man. Listen to him talk in this interview. You hear Garrett talk about "the right kind of guy" ...This is it.

Waiter was very polite and helpful, and spoke English. Food was outstanding, and it came very quickly as well. The manager accepted my payment at the register and my impression of her was not good. Someone must have pissed in her cheerios.

Would have enjoyed it a lot more if they would have answered their phone so I could place my order. I've had this problem many times with Marco's. It's a shame because they have better pizza than a lot of other places.

Best choice for fast food in Bryan. Service isn't always the best, but it's fast food. They're generally clean and make the food the way it's supposed to be made. And who doesn't like taco bell?

Staff does not communicate like you would expect a professional business to. Gets very frustrating. Also, paid $500 for a "nice" used mower, only to use it a couple times and have the engine die. But that's not their problem. I couldn't recommend that anyone do business with these guys.

This facility is brand new (end of 2012). Beautiful lighting, nice fixtures and appliances, friendly and courteous staff. Beds are nice and pillows are very fluffy. Location is excellent, but parking lot seems small for size of the place. Only real problem I had was it would have been nicer to have a microwave in the room. Room had a fridge but no microwave. Overall 9 out of 10.
