The Supply Chain : It's complex, but help is at hand

We get it. Managing your supply chain isn't the most exciting thing for most people. You have a business to run and managing the logistics part of it is mostly a means-to-an-end. A very important part of the whole process perhaps and one which can make or break reputations. But exciting? Maybe not so much.
And it can get a bit complex. Workflows, Standard Operating Procedures, Time Zones, Languages, Cultures, Customs and a whole bunch of other stuff gets in the way.

At Bellville Rodair, we have thought about this quite a lot. We believe in Building Reliability. It is our mission to create true partnerships through the bridges of Awareness, Accuracy, Imagination, Communication and Enjoyment. It goes into everything we do. Other companies do the A to B stuff quite well. Only a few excel in managing the whole process.

When we decided to create an online tool for our customers to manage everything in their logistics realm we didn't just copy the competition. In truth, the competition didn't have much worth copying. Online tools are often overly complex, poorly designed and difficult to use.
MiReport was designed with just one word in mind: Simplicity. We figured that if we could design a system which distills all the complexity of your supply chain process into a system which is as easy to use as doing a Google search you'd want to use it.

And now we have designed a MiReport introduction webpage using the same principles of simplicity and focus. We invite you to have a look. We hope you like what you see and would love to help you simplify your supply chain too.

Please contact mireport@bellvillerodair.com for more information about how to get on board.

The Chairman's Report for the 1st Quarter 2013 has been published. Our Chairman, Terry Walpole, reports that the first three months of 2013 have been challenging for BRI and the industry as a whole. Bellville Rodair is adapting well to these conditions.
Thanks to continued investment in training and technology as well as reducing overheads we are on target for the year. For the full text visit the Chairman's Report section at www.bellvillerodair.com

Time stands still for no one. We are already racing towards the end of the first quarter of this year.
However, before we get ahead of ourselves in excitement about all the great initiatives around the company we thought it a good moment to draw your attention to the 2012 Review which is now available on our website.

Who We Are

We’re a multilingual, multicultural, and multi-faceted transportation organisation delivering specialised services within the fast-paced world of international freight forwarding and logistics. Our global reach spans all continents through a network of our own offices and strategic partners.

By committing to the same standards of performance regardless of the location, the language or the local conditions, we are able to meet and frequently exceed the expectations of our customers, whether they are global shippers or local companies. Our high levels of service ensure clients keep coming back to us time and time again for their transportation needs.

The History

Originally founded as a joint venture between British-based Bellville Group and Canadian-based Rodair Group, BRI’s origins date back to 1982.

Today, we employ over 200 staff in 26 locations worldwide and put our growth down to the fact we listen to, and work closely with, our customers to ensure that our strategy for expansion is driven by their needs.

The Future

People make the difference in our industry, so we’re committed to recruiting, training and developing the best people for the job to ensure our clients know they can rely on his to get the job done, every time. Our business is based on the concept of building reliability and giving our customers, suppliers and employees confidence in working with BRI.

We’re already developed three significant industry teams. Our Energy Team, our Auto Team and our Couture Group can be accessed from any part of the BRI world. And as we continue along our journey more sector-related specialist groups will be added to supplement our General Freight activity.
