A Social Club for Teens with High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder

The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (The J) presents a social club for teens ages14 -18 diagnosed with a level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (formerly Asperger’s Syndrome and PDD-NOS). The club provides social opportunities in a structured and supportive environment with guidance from professional staff, allowing the participants to gain confidence while interacting in a variety of social situations.

When: Sunday, January 14, 2018
Time: 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Where: The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia

ReelAbilities Film Festival Northern Virginia

ReelAbilities is the largest film festival in the country dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people with different abilities. Initiated in NY in 2007, the festival presents award winning films by and about people with disabilities.
