Office for the iPad: arguably the most eagerly awaited iPad apps since the device’s release four years ago, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iPad are now available in the App Store and now there are cheat sheets to go with them. Our easy to use instructions come in a compact, iPad-friendly format (8.5 inches x 5.5 inches). While writing the Quick Reference Guides for these apps, we were delighted to see that these are robust programs with many of the features of their desktop siblings. Though, like many iPad apps, the need to maximize space and keep the interface simple make some of these features a little hard to find. Still, the more we dug, the more we discovered, and the more impressed we were with Microsoft’s latest addition to the Office family.
