Coworking is strong trend in small towns. Potential business owners can start without the overhead of a whole building themselves and they benefit from interaction and support within the community. Always an honor when +Rex Hammock and crew pick up one of my articles for +SmallBusiness.com.
A small town coworking space is a smart place to focus economic development along Main Street. It can be a great small business, as well.

Viniq Simmery really is... shimmery!
I had to get you a video because a photo just doesn't do it justice... Watch them swirl!! Posted by Allen's Retail Liquors, Alva, OK on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 The bottle is perfectly clear. All the color and shimmery come from the liqueur itself!

The one "social" conference I look forward to each year. The speakers are varied and interesting. Last year, I left with 9 action items. That's a pretty good success! Here's my affiliate link: http://smtulsa2015.eventbrite.com/?aff=speakerspecial&afu=1187722262
Or if you have a beef with affiliate links, just go sign up right at smtulsa.com #smtulsa  #itsnotjustfortulsa

In just a few words, +Benjamin Winchester lays out the three major demographic opportunities for rural places. That's right after he destroys the myth about "shrinking rural populations."
University of Minnesota Extension researcher Ben Winchester identifies three demographic opportunities for rural communities: appealing to immigrants, providing new housing for aging baby boomers and attracting millenials wit...

Will we end up with a society that discriminates based on vaccination status? Will large events and venues require vaccination records for entrance? Or will they segregate people into vaccinated and unvaccinated sections? Or will the businesses and venues just accept the legal liability? I am sure Disney is having these and other difficult conversations right now.

Gave my "6 Most Important Things List" post a much-needed update. Yeah, it's five years old, but I'm still using it every single day.

These two paragraphs explain why I donated:

"The stereotypes of people living in poverty throughout the United States are among the most negative prejudices that we have. And people basically view particularly homeless people as having no redeeming qualities” ~ Susan Fiske, Professor of Psychology. Princeton University

DID YOU KNOW that Invisible People is the only national awareness and educational campaign on homelessness? Just turn on the TV and you'll see anti-smoking ads, don't text and drive videos are all over the internet, and causes from the need to recycle to global warming are everywhere we look, and they should be. But except for Invisible People, there are zero campaigns teaching the general public about homelessness.
