Will we end up with a society that discriminates based on vaccination status? Will large events and venues require vaccination records for entrance? Or will they segregate people into vaccinated and unvaccinated sections? Or will the businesses and venues just accept the legal liability? I am sure Disney is having these and other difficult conversations right now.

Fine with me if they do.

The one "social" conference I look forward to each year. The speakers are varied and interesting. Last year, I left with 9 action items. That's a pretty good success! Here's my affiliate link: http://smtulsa2015.eventbrite.com/?aff=speakerspecial&afu=1187722262
Or if you have a beef with affiliate links, just go sign up right at smtulsa.com #smtulsa  #itsnotjustfortulsa

Why I write
I write because my grandmother, Ola Mae Hendricks, taught reading. She taught me, or helped me teach myself, long before I headed to pre-school. She helped me become a voracious reader. If writing comes naturally to me now, it's because of the groundwork my...

Gave my "6 Most Important Things List" post a much-needed update. Yeah, it's five years old, but I'm still using it every single day.

These two paragraphs explain why I donated:

"The stereotypes of people living in poverty throughout the United States are among the most negative prejudices that we have. And people basically view particularly homeless people as having no redeeming qualities” ~ Susan Fiske, Professor of Psychology. Princeton University

DID YOU KNOW that Invisible People is the only national awareness and educational campaign on homelessness? Just turn on the TV and you'll see anti-smoking ads, don't text and drive videos are all over the internet, and causes from the need to recycle to global warming are everywhere we look, and they should be. But except for Invisible People, there are zero campaigns teaching the general public about homelessness.

This was my first piece of custom jewelry, and Daniel Gordon at the Diamond Cellar made it easy. I was a bit nervous about ordering something custom, but he answered all my questions and made it easy. Looking at the necklace, I'm so happy I ordered it and that Diamond Cellar satisfied everything I needed.
